Europa League 2015/16

The draw for the 3rd qualifying round was made today. Some of the teams entering at this round can be expected to make it through to the group stage.

Southampton are drawn against Vitesse Arnhem. West Ham are 1-0 up from the home leg of their 2nd qualifying round against Birkirkara of Malta. If they progress to the 3rd qualifying round they will meet either Inverness Caledonian Thistle or Romanian team Astra Giurgiu.

Indeed it has. I saw a former friend tweeting via a retweet about making the trip over to wherever it was they played in the last round and talking about European tours and being a fancied underdog to win the lot etc.......typically braindead sort of stuff that just kind of sums up why he supports west ham really.

Not sure what I want from this, don't want the unthinkable happening and West Ham doing well in the competition, but the extra games will do them no favours.
 
great for their fans, they have probably never been involved in a penalty shoot out before, its good that they get a rounded experience
