Hospitalisations and deaths continue to go down too.
Lets see how omicron effects this. 2 cases confirmed in camden where i live. Probably a lot more.

Was thinking. If omicron is that transmissable and as mild as we hope. It can end the pandemic. It could also be a way of fighting future pandemics. Isolate the virus, manipulate it so it's much more transmissable, mild and can't mutate further. Then release that into the population so people get immunity.
Yeah, some may have had one jab, but only a few. Children will also have a fairly high number of cases too.

Just not enough data yet on Omicron to be conclusive. Not enough time has elapsed, not enough demographic to be infected. It’s all guesswork and spin so far, some of it innocent, some of it through spin.
It's going to take a few weeks. Even knowing what's happening in south africa won't mean it'll be the same in europe. Different age demographics different weather (especially as they are entering summer and us winter). It's right we're taking precautions.
