There is a thread for the U21 Competition, there was one for Euro 2012, there was probably one for the World Cup, why not have one for the Confederations Cup? I'm actually looking forward to it tonight.

We get goal line technology which is a great step in the world of football, funnily enough we probably won't see it used all tournament. We get what could be a bright opener as well in Brazil vs. Japan.

I want to see Neymar actually show up for once, I look forward to seeing Kagawa and Honda in the Japan team, the main creativity for Japan. I also can't wait to see the likes of Paulinho, Bernard and Lucas Moura too who all look to have a very bright future.

He hasn't been involved much so far but he's more attacking than I originally thought which is good. The pitch isn't helping either side though.
 
We could do a lot worse than signing Honda on a free this summer. I have been impressed.

In all honesty, I don't see what he would add that someone else couldn't right now. I'll keep viewing him though in the second half (and throughout the rest of the tournament).. so far though, minds mixed.

Honda on the other hand...

Must be fudging annoying when trying to buy him - now 2 goals in 3 for Brazil. DL prepare to be gazumped.

Regarding what he brings - talent. Looks like he has an all round ability - likes to attack, keeps energetic all the time, puts a foot in, tackles, closes down quickly...and can put the ball in the net. What you want in a midfielder in the modern game. He's still a little raw - exactly what we should be looking for.

Question is, who else is too?
