I've got my first big job interview in years today.

Only a telephone interview to start, but am bricking it.

Cheers. Am down to last 8, but am probably the least experienced of the lot for the particular job role (despite my advancing years!!!)

Would be worth a 40% increase over my current wages if succesful. Gulp!!

DO IT! Good luck buddy. The missus had an interview yesterday and finds out today. Possible second interview if they like more than one candidate.
 
Yeah we've received our bonus today. Got my wage slip last week Thursday and I've been taxed ?ú1316.00 this month. Absolutely shocking!!

Got my final wage slip of the year today.....?ú29k in tax and ?ú6k in NI....lovely!

I have assets - so fudge you all with your paychecks.

I dont get a bonus I just get a thank you letter and telling me how lucky I still have a fudgein job.
 
Last year, senior management at the firm sent lots of emails, stating their desire to put a new bonus scheme in place, and how the first bonus would likely be paid in 2011.

The whole year, they said that we were exceeding the targets. Then, a couple of weeks before the bonus amounts were due to be announced, they said that our dept had met its targets but that others hadn't and therefore, they wouldn't be paying a bonus.
