Oh ffs when AVB got his last manager of the month on january 11th his next 4 results were drew 3 lost 1 until the award was foisted off to someone else.
We're doomed.

Yes, I think so.

Last time we had a Spurs Double was August 2009 with Harry & Jermain Defoe....

two things can happen you supersticious lot!!!!!!

AVB & BALE can rest on their laurels and say yeah look how good we are we might just slack off for a bit.........

or

They can ruddy well show starting Sunday that they deserve the plaudits/accolades coming their way and they will have a burning desire to keep proving themselves.

I hope for the second option.

Congratulations to both and I dont think many will disagree that they deserve it.

well our Sept and Oct results after those awards were 2 wins, 4 defeats, 1 draw.....rubbish
 
however 2009-2010 did see us finish in the top 4 and qualify for the CL :-k =D>
 
these are good omens

Redknapp won the MotM award for Sept 2011, and our first game in Oct was the NLD at home and we won 2-1 (also our last victory in Sept was away to Wigan where Bale scored the crucial second goal in our 2-1 win) Bale matchwinner away against a team beginning with W\o/

Redknapp then won the MotM award for Nov 2011 and our first game in Dec was a 3-0 win at home over Bolton (again our last victory in Nov was away to a team beginning with W, West Brom and we scored 3 in that game)\o/

although AVB didnt receive the MotM award for Dec until after the Reading game on Jan 1st, it still shows that winning the award for the previous month doesnt mean defeat or loss in the first game of the new month. We beat Reading on Jan 1st at home\o/

This is a clear conspiracy against Spurs. We don't need this jinx now. Not when our next 4 matches are against Arsenal, Inter and Liverpool. Both awards used to be prestigious but no longer so. Most of the media don't even mention about this nowadays.
