2013/14 Squads

Re: Squad numbers

Didnt Bale change it last year too?

VDV was number 11, no? he played on the opening day of the season against Saudi Sportswashing Machine. So Bale must have changed? Unless VDV had his number changed for the 1 game?

Re: Squad numbers

Here are the complete details of Tottenham Hotspur's current 83-man playing squad for 2013-14...

Tottenham Hotspur Current Squads - Season 2013-14

Does this show that there are 45 players on full-time, full professional contracts?

I also see you label these 45 as the "first team squad" - so, can any of these players swap into the PL squad at any point or is that restricted in some way? Are youth players also allowed to jump up to the pro squads?

The 81 players currently on Tottenham's books (under-18 and older) are split-up as follows:

First Team Squad 28
Professional Squad 25
Third Year Academy 5
Second Year Academy 12
First Year Academy 11
TOTAL PLAYERS 81

Thanks for that.

Am I losing the plot or has that page been updated since I posted? Could have sworn there was a line under player #45 before.

Re: Tottenham Hotspur 25-man Premier League Squad 2013-14

I was absolutely shocked when Villa picked up Dawkins on loan in January.. Couldn't see him in any squads in pre season, maybe he was injured?

Re: Tottenham Hotspur 25-man Premier League Squad 2013-14

Scary to think we've spent £40m on two players aged 21.

Re: Tottenham Hotspur 25-man Premier League Squad 2013-14

Didnt even realise he was back at the club, let alone in the 25. Did he make any if the squads for the pre-season friendlies?

Yes, Dawkins played (and scored) in the 4-0 Spurs XI win at Kingstonian on 18th July...
