What’s everyone reading?

Michel The Giant.

A young lad from Togo reads a book about Greenland and decides to go. On his own. In the 1950s. No money, no contacts.

Had to travel over land across Africa, up through Europe and into a boat.

Great travel memoir

Just finishing Duncan Hamilton’s ‘Provided You Don’t Kiss Me: 20 Years With Brian Clough.’ One of the best sports books that I’ve ever read. What Clough and Taylor achieved with Forest will never be matched.

I just finished Nuclear War - A Scenario by Annie Jacobsen.

If you can exitentialize facts and thus stark non-fiction that reads like the most extreme horror you've never imagined, I invite you to take the plunge. If such stuff preys on your mind, avoid this book at all costs. It is genuinely fudged.

The Road by Cormac Murphy is a 'wonderful' companion piece to this.

That book really messed me up. But it's a superb read

I’m reading this now. Between it and the Fallout TV series, I’m properly freaked out!

I’ve just finished this book. I read your post and it peaked my interest.

Utterly bleak and pretty scary.

Just started reading Cormack McCarthy.
Half way through The Road. Also got Blood Meridian and The passenger on the kindle.
