***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v Arsenal***

Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen has declared himself fit and ready for the north London derby.
Vertonghen has been struggling with a minor ankle injury in the last couple of weeks and was left out of Belgium's 3-3 draw against Mexico in Brussels last weekend.
But he came through the 1-0 win over Japan on Tuesday night unscathed and has given Mauricio Pochettino a major boost ahead of the game against Arsenal.

Great news.

Will be interesting to see how we line up...

Long travels with time zone differences for Son and Sanchez. Loads of unknowns in terms of injuries and always the risk that someone returns with an unreported knock after the international break.

Trippier, Davies, Vertonghen, Dier and Eriksen are pretty safe guesses I would think. I'm guessing Sanchez too with Alderweireld and Wanyama most likely out. Hopefully Lloris, Kane, Alli, Winks and Dembele well join them. Could be a good game for Sissoko though.

They're pretty confident over at arsenal-mania:
Who do we reckon concedes the penalty?

Koscielny or Monreal are obviously the favourites but this is a big derby game and I feel like Kolasinac’s career has started a little too brightly. Could also see a Cech pen after a hilarious Xhaka backpass puts Alli through.

Son and Sanchez's second games were Tues this week so, assuming they're on private jets, would have landed back this morning. Gives them just over 3 days before the derby, which is enough

Overheard a gooner in the pub last night saying how they haven't been too bad really and if they beat us they'll be back on the pace and will feel a lot better.

Is it possible to want to destroy them more?

He's right though. If they win they are 1 point behind us.

Always. Even when they go non-league there is always a winding up order that can come along and brighten the day.

So, to the death star we go ! Line up the Jedi folks, take down the sith led by the deluded darth wenger ( canna wait for the next Star Wars flick ... )

Defend and counter, we seem to do it so well now, and we seem to still be playing better away, though the Madrid result, oh and the Liverpoo one too may show we are making Wemberleee our own. I will be crossing fingers, toes, legs, the road, that chicken, rabbits foot, shamrock, incense because I just hope we stay strong.

Yep this has got counter attack written all over it for us. Give them the ball, but defend with venom. Smash Wheelchair and Ozil hard. Start Rose and encourage the likes of Dier and Verts to play their dirtiest.
