Ross Barkley

This has another whiff of the Willian saga all over it. Chelsea will get in there late on, if only just to stifle us as much as need the player. Though their squad is about as paper thin as ours tbh.

Either way, the Chelsea sabotage is coming gents, prepare yourself for it.

Everton tried to drum up business whilst the price was high. Now it's falling as they realise everyone else knows how much Barkley is worth with just a year left on his contract.

Lots of wonderful ITK.

Apparently Barkley is currently at the hotel we use for new signings, while Cancelo is at a Chelsea hotel.

Chelsea want Barkley, but their priority is Chamberlain. o_O

I like the rumour that Barkley needs to leave because a friendly Scouse Gangster told him he had to leave the city due to some women shenanigans - no idea if true but I like to believe it.

Well, Rose wants to see Barkley come in. As one of the two or three big signings that he wants to see us making. The question is, is that now more or less likely as a result of his comments?

Everton don't need to sell, they don't need the money. I can see this running right until deadline day and we'll find out if Levy is willing to stump up the cash or not.

“But hearing Ross might be available, well, I have played with and against Ross and bringing him through the door, in itself, would be a huge boost.

“I’m a huge fan. In terms of physical stature, right and left foot and trying to get him off the ball, he’s like Mousa Dembele. If Ross wants to push on to the next level, Mauricio Pochettino is the best manager to do that — just look how many players he has got into the England squad.”

Not my words.... but the words of Danny Rose. Worth more than the thoughts of any poster on here IMO.

That's some fine tapping up from Rose.
