Kyle Walker

I guess the obvious question, is why?

If this was 6 year ago this would have dragged on all summer.
He would have went the day before deadline day with us struggling to get a replacement but with an extra 10m in the bank.
A popular player in the dressing room would have nothing good to say about the club all pre season.

Levy's behaviour has changed. This either because he's being very straight with Walker or Pochettino has got involved.

What's the next twist though?

Bid rejected or failed medical?

1.5 Sissokos is not enough for a player of his ability, injuries or not.

Sissoko for 30 mill was a brainfart of humongous proportions. I don't know what happened that made Levy agree to such a deal but not many would have gone anywhere near that price even in this stupid inflated market.

There is no point using that in comparison with 50 mill for Walker. This deal is a massive amount. Walker is fast and it's Poch that's made him a better defender in our way of playing. However going forward Walker is still erratic and inconsistent with his final ball or cross. Guardiola may improve this aspect but Walker will regress defensively without having someone like Poch drilling him constantly in training sessions.

Going forward he has improved immensely

He is always gonna have the one rooster up per game still and that's what people remember

Really surprised at the low fee and seems we didn't dig our heels in.

We simply HAVE to keep Dier now. To lose two players to title rivals is not ideal.

Can we now get on with signing someone please? Been a bit too quiet on the incoming front, the season starts in 1 month!

Not ideal??

Selling one to a title rival is totally unacceptable and makes me question what we can achieve long term with Daniel as our Chairman.

And this comes from someone who normally universally backs him however I'm now believing that they need to finish the stadium and sell the Club so we can stop being preyed on.

Very sad we have proved all the muppets in the media right that have long thought that put enough pound notes on the table and Spurs won't hesitate to sell.

If we rate KWP so highly, then still sell Walker abroad or not at all.

50m in this market to a title rival? Emirates Marketing Project won't believe their luck.

No one abroad wants English players

City are about to sign Mendy for the LB role too for 40m.

They were seriously struggling for a top drawer right back and we incredibly just gave them one. We should be looking to fudge them up, not bloody help them. And the fee is meaningless in the money world football now lives in.

Might as well personally hand City the league title Levy, well done mate!
