Kyle Walker

Levy should really set a cut off date. If Walker is to go then it should be soon, else we ask him to carry on seeing out his contract.
I can't be bothered looking back but I'm sure there was something reported along the lines of City were giving US two weeks to accept their offer.
Lol! Crack on. As you were.

This will drag on till the final hours of deadline day. City will end up paying 50 mill in one lump sum, plus another 5-10mill based on performance/success, and they will have to agree to sell us that talented kid Sancho for around 5-10 mill

It took us several years to properly replace all those players. They were all set backs that delayed progression

Berbatov > Kane
Keane > vdV
Modric > Dembele 2016 vintage
Bale > Son
Carrick > Modric

And helpfully we've been saved by our academy producing some gems.

The moneyball approach of selling your top player(s) to buy several others with potential never ever works

Also..if we had not lost players like Bale Modric and Berbatov we would have won trophies by now..there's no doubt.
Its like saying..oh we sold Blanchflower Mackay and White...but we're still improving!
But...what have we won?

We haven't won anything since the 2008 Carling Cup. And there's no way to know if we'd have won trophies with those players if they'd stayed because they didn't. BUT, what we do know is that under Poch we have improved every year, he has the full support of Levy and we have a system in place that has shown year on year improvement. Even to the point where we can have injures to Kane, Toby, Vertonghen, Lamela and other first team players and still flourish. AND play brilliant, exciting Tottenham football.

It won't feel like enough to the fans if a large proportion of it ISN'T then put back into improving the squad. Even ring fencing some of it to put on current player wages would help to perhaps keep some of them happy.

In other words, I don't want to see us lose key players from the most promising squad e've had in years, just to fund a stadium.

He's a £70m player in this market.

If this is true, we need to wack £40m down on Bellerin immediately
I would imagine we'll go out and spend half of the fee on that Portguese guy who has been on loan at Nice. Similar attributes to Walker and 3 or 4 years younger. We can also afford to ease him in gently as we have Trippier already fully integrated.

According to some sources it could be 55 million including add ons. Those had better be 'starts 5 games', rather than 'win the PL and CL'.

Lol we do this dance with all media just to suit us.

One article from the Sun about us wanting Incacheo(sp) and people talk like we could actually be getting him, article from the Telegraph saying Dier wants to go Man U and its instantly dismissed as biased nonsense....
