won't the 3rd placed team get thrown into the qualifying round too if chelsea win it ? holders surely go straight into the group stage

Good spot. I believe that is correct too. So even 3rd may not guarantee CL football now... wouldnt mind having that problem though, playing a 2-legged qualifier to reach the Group stages

yep but a bit of a shock for ****y gooners who assumed they were already there. expect to hear whinger's thoughts on it soon. i'm sure he'll say it 's just one of those things. :p

Yes. Forget his injury, he should be in his bedroom, kneeling down, topless, facing a mirror, and whipping himself on the back shouting "YOU DESERVE THIS TOM! YOU DESERVE IT FOR NOT BEING FIT THIS SEASON!"

Haha. I cannot believe people are having a go at him for it, he's injured and of course he's doing this in his spare time. He's actually watching and appreciating football, lets hope he further improves his game next season by watching the likes of Xavi. Tom is of Course a chelsea fan, so i've heard.

WTF?

In that case, you're a cnut Tom, and should be back at the Lodge right now doing extra work.

I'm with you on this one mate...sad thing is, I'm not surprised anymore. Rare is the player in modern football who is not out for themselves. few are the players who give it some when the chips are down. I hate Chelsea, but to deny them praise for what they did tonight would be pathetic. That was an incredible effort. I would weep if we did something like that at the business end of the season! Puts out semi-final meltdown into focus for me, I have spent a long time moaning about how we were fudged over in that match, but sadly, when you see a side go a man and two goals down in the Nou camp only to grab a draw and get to the final, you realize our side lacks proper character and gonad*s...you wouldn't have seen an injured John Terry watching us in a semi-final overseas from the stands! No mate, I'm with you on this one...

Grrr will people stop saying fair play to Chelsea, bunch of fudging ****s, cheating tacos, the club shouldn't even be in existence any more. Kids, hard work and playing by the rules gets you nowhere, just throw money at everything and cheat and you'll be successful. fudge, if it wasn't for Spurs I would not bother with football at all, fudged up sport.

Mate, I'm not happy for Cheat$ki, I'm just laughing my ass off at the "world's greatest team ever" with "world's greatest player ever" and "great manager" that won't win either their domestic league or the CL this year.

fudging Barca is such a fanboy/fairweather fan club it is stupid, all the pundit tossfest every week. A fudging Jose double over them will be great, and Jose will do what he does, take the double in Spain, then fudge off to another country so Barca can't win it back from him ... brilliant!

Let Cheat$ki have their moment in the sun at Barca's expense, half the team suspended against a Mourinho Madrid? watch CR turn up, again after all the comments about not a big game player ...

Good to see Huddlestone really concentrating on getting back to playing for Spurs

Was sat in the Camp Nou tonight watching the semi, then wonders why he got some abuse on twitter..

Another passionate Spurs player who couldnt give two fudges about the massive fudge up of a season were going to end up having
He's not going to play again for the rest of the season and I'm sure that he hasn't even started his recovery programme yet. What exactly has he done wrong by going to watch Barcelona? Maybe he expected them to smash the chavs?

What a victory for football lastnight

It shows once again that ****s get everything in life, be scummy, act disgracefully, cheat and lie and definately no such thing as karma either

Fabregas

What does he win?

Watching Terry being interviewed, giving it as the victim, makes me sick to the bone.

There's millions of people in greater London earning a hard living in all sorts of daytime jobs, and this scumbag gets the medias blessing victimising himself for getting sent off for violent conduct in the worlds biggest spectator sport ?

Cannot believe England even let's him wear their shirt. C*nts and a c*nt.
