We played well after Euro-midweek. Would have liked to see the fresher Janssen, Son, Lamela and Alli on. When we opened them up we lacked that final pass to setup a clear strike on goal. But we were creating chances. I thought Lamela was one of the bad players today as usual. Not a bad performance from us, I don't agree with others saying we were dreadful.

Same issues with scoring.
fixed that for you dude.

Well that is two hours of my life that I wont get back. was it just me, or did it seem the pitch was difficult today? The bounce seemed to throw both sides off. I am fast losing patience with our forward midfield three and I didn't at all like Poch's subs. The only time I was aware that Sissoko was on the pitch was when he elbowed King in the face. Three weeks holiday methinks. No loss.

Poor poor subs performance from Poch today. Lamela should have been no where near the pitch and should have been subbed at half time. Really don't rate him. I counted at the start and within 12 minutes he had given the ball away 5 time, given away two fouls and he then nearly got sent off!

Jansen we should cut our losses on he's just awful and doesn't look like a premier league striker at all
. Son and Alli off? I love Poch but today was a bad day for him.

People keep telling me we have to give him time. Its November soon, I know players take time to settle I appreciate that, but in a white shirt the guy doesnt look like he has a goal in him. Great hold-up strength, no argument there, but I want my striker scoring goals, or at least looking like he can score

Their final ball was as good as they were allowed

We didn't put many good final balls in either

How is that luck??

I'm not saying we were played off the park ffs, I'm just saying imo, we could have lost it with some risky play, they only needed 1 goal,
we could have played for another 2 hours and still not scored.
I'll leave it at that.

Okay its clear we should have bought Mane rather than Sissoko, but he's here now, and he does offer something if Poch can get him playing with some confidence. The kind of game you need to win if you're to win the PL. But we are not clinical enough up front as things stand.

Nothing gets created for him. Hes had 2 guilt edge chances that's all I can remember.

Our attacking creative players aren't that creative.

Mike Ashley must be laughing his c@ck off everytime he sees Sissoko come on and then remembers that cheque we sent them for £30m.

If we add that money to spend we should have added to the Janssen money and really tested Everton's resolve for Lukaku

But likewise they would have played for 2 hours and not scored ... As demonstrated today

He had a ball played into him perfectly with his back to goal, and he waited for the ball to come to him like a Sunday league footballer and he lost it. It was a great chance to get a goal. You don't wait for the ball to come to you, you go to it. That's what you teach 6 year olds.
