Have to say i didn't think that playing a team who won so convincingly last time, was going to be easy.

Really poor show. We didn't look like winning at any point. Would have been nice to be top for a couple hours. Oh well.

Its doesnt really matter, the year changes but nothing else does. Every Every time we have a chance to go top we blow it. People wonder why we get called bottlers year in year out.
Its in the clubs DNA.
Its all well and good staying unbeaten, keeping clean sheets, having the best defence in the league. 38 0-0's will get you relegated before it wins a title.
P#ss poor the last 2 matches. Would City, Arsenal, Chelsea et all, only pick up 2pts from WBA and Bournemouth away. I think we know the answer.

We fvcked up this game. Plain and simple. I like that second half we came out and decided not to drop to Bournemouth's cheap tactics of aggressive football. We realised that they were not really that good. However our attack was horrible. We got into good positions and just couldnt finish.

Only because their final ball was poor. We gave it away a few times in dangerous places. Their keeper was hardly man of the match either!

Poor poor subs performance from Poch today. Lamela should have been no where near the pitch and should have been subbed at half time. Really don't rate him. I counted at the start and within 12 minutes he had given the ball away 5 time, given away two fouls and he then nearly got sent off!
Jansen we should cut our losses on he's just awful and doesn't look like a premier league striker at all. Son and Alli off? I love Poch but today was a bad day for him.

Personally I can see a lot of teams not getting wins at west brom and Bournemouth and that includes Arsenal and city. These teams ain't mugs and they have Experience and well organised players

Spot on. Exactly my thoughts.
this - people have this strange habit of overplaying things when we have an off day. overall balance of the game was even if not slightly in our favour but because we played well below our level the game gets turned on its head and we should have lost

We played well after Euro-midweek. Would have liked to see the fresher Janssen, Son, Lamela and Alli on. When we opened them up we lacked that final pass to setup a clear strike on goal. But we were creating chances. I thought Lamela was one of the better players today. Not a bad performance from us, I don't agree with others saying we were dreadful.

I don't understand why the hell Sissoko was brought on. What was he going to contribute with in such a game? Unless Alli was was exhausted, it made no sense, and even if he was, it would been better to put Winks on and push Dembele further forward.
We had nothing going forward today though. We didn't create a single clear cut chance that I can remember. Lamela's shot was not a clear chance. We didn't create anything. Not when they pressed high, and not when they sat deep. I also think that Poch got both the team selection and the subs wrong today. Four points lost in two games now against teams we should beat. Today we didn't deserve more though, so it's easier to deal with.
