OMT Spurs v City Sunday 4pm

Think we've been the better team. We started so well and an early goal would have been great. Set piece delivery seems to have improved.

Mason has been awful. Eriksen non existant too. Kane, Lamela and Bentaleb working hard. Rose probably our best performer, not surprising.

We were 1-0 down to Chelsea and Arsenal. Believe.
 
Eh. We played well, but we don't have the class and experience City do, Mason's failure to track Aguero for the goal being indicative of that. So only natural that we'd enjoy possession and craft some chances, only to fail to take them. Still think there are more goals in this game, but I think we'll find it more difficult than City to claim them.

Erm, you don't recall Fazio passing to to the opposition leading directing to goals? Getting outjumped every match? Zero danger at our corners.
What is it you think Fazio has that makes him so good?
 
Actually our back four have been pretty decent and going forward Bentaleb has looked OK. Eriksen is a waste of space, Chadli outstanding one minute, absent the next, Lamela huff and puff but little creativity and Kane doing a decent job stretching the City defence.

Worst performer has been Mason - lost Aguero for the goal, fluffed a one on one and offered little protection to the defence.

Fazio is awful. Can't pass, can't jump, slow, clumsy. Just don't get why we sign these players

He is better than anyone else we have, that is why he is in the team. Whether he is good enough long term isn't really relevant.
 
Ah I went into the Mason thread first, great to see so many people say what I've been saying, and lambasted for for months and months. Mason is a terrible footballer!! Utterly terrible. And yet again, costing us the match!!
 
Norwegian studio with Uwe Rösler also blaming Mason. Just follow Aguero, and he has no chance to score. School boy defending.

Fair enough. I'd say he is better than Chiriches and worse than the rest. Certainly not someone we should have bought based on his performances so far.
Maybe he'll improve with a pre-season behind him and experience of English football. Seems like a bit of a dud though.
 
Some very casual defending again by spurs a few times in that half. Decent going forward though except for the finishing. If we want bad enough they're are there for the taking.

No, it's because he's utterly inept! It's not JUSt the goal, it's the wayward passing, the absolute fluff one v one, it's the complete lack of offering anything substantial in attack and defence. but if you want to trivialise peoples opinions as a way to demand them, fine. But it's more than just that!
