*** TOTTENHAM Vs CHELSKI OFFICIAL OMT***

Really disappointed. We wasted a great chance to beat Chelsea away. We had enough chances to win this match comfortably. But our clumsiness in front of goal has cost us a valuable win over Chelsea. We had 5 clear cut chance that we should have scored, 2 by VDV and 1 each by Bale, Walker and Adebayor. All were easy chances with only the goalie to beat.

The worst of the misses was by Adebayor. It was unforgivable the way he failed to score yet another one-on-one with the goalie. He had all the time in the world to beat the Chelsea goalie. He should have lobbed over goalie as the ball was coming down nicely. The way he was going around the goalie, the defenders were always going to have enough time to block his shot. It must be more than 20 times that Adebayor has wasted those one-on-one chances this season. Earlier in the season VDV would have scored both the chances but now he looks totally out of form as he shot straight at the goalie. Similiarly, Walker and Bale should have done better with their chances. There is nothing much you can do when your players waste those golden chances.

Also, don't understand why Redknapp brought on Saha instead of Defoe. As shown in recent matches, Saha hardly looks like scoring goals or win us any match. Defoe would have done better for us as he tends to do well when coming as a sub. Chelsea were tiring later in the match. We needed someone like Defoe to make use of the chance we were creating.

It looks increasingly difficult to finish above Arsenal as they are now 3 points above us. We could have gone a lone way if we had beaten Chelsea. We wasted a golden chance to overcome our away jinx at Chelsea.

Just got back from the most absorbing match ever.

I was literally bricking bricks when ever Chelsea attacked and I thought we were going to get screwed like usual but our players held there bottle; If Ade could improve his first touch then he would be awesome.

Chelsea fans were silent; Fair play to Lampard for having some humour. =D>

fudging hell, sounds painful.

Really disappointed.

You said the same thing after Norwich (maybe our best away performance in years), and after Saudi Sportswashing Machine (because we only won 5-0, not 9-0).

I strongly recommend you call the samaritans. This must be borderline breakdown for you.

Just seen it all again on Goals on Sunday. How the f#ck did we not score just before HT, unreal.

Thought Ade was very unlucky with his one-on-one, first few times thought it was really poor finishing, but seen it a few more times and I actually think he is very very unlucky, he pushes the ball past Cech and it just bounces a fraction too far. If he could have just reached it a fraction earlier Cahill would not have been where he was to block it.
The margin between a win and a draw was that fine

fine margins indeed

Like when their free kick hit the post and came back out. It could have gone in. It could have hit friedel and gone in. It could have hit walker and gone in. It could have gone to drogba. Luckily it fell to Luiz who hacked it clear for us.

Fine lines like Saha hitting the post at everton. And drenthe having a goal wrongly disallowed against arsenal.

If if if if

That was karma for him moving the ball a yard forward in the first place..

This tinkled me off. They should not have had the free kick in the first place, when Drogba went down we kicked the ball out of touch for them, when Kaboul went down they carried on and won that free kick. I would have been livid if that went in.

Am I the only one who thinks Livermore currently warrants a starting spot ahead of Sandro? I hold Sandro in high regard btw....

It is a shame he couldn't have at least done what Grant Holt managed yesterday and chipped it over the keeper before slotting home but suppose that's the difference between a striker in form playing with confidence and those we have up front currently who just can't seem to find the back of the net with any great frequency.

Hopefully Ade and VdV can recapture their early season scoring form to allow us to go on another winning run.

Just watched the game again, jeez if we could finish we wouldve won that game so so easily, by far the better side but interestingly Di Matteo thought they were !!!

Stats dont back that up one bit

Bale's free kick in the last minute, jeez Gallas only needed a tiny touch on it and it wouldve flown past Cech, such fine margins as we said...

Beating Bolton will be tough as they will be up it and will try and win it for Muamba, but I'm confident we'll turn Chelsea over in the semis if we get past Bolton after yesterday's performance.

considering we have been the 3rd best team in the Prem this season, and Chelsea are in and out of the top 4 and in the CL quarters, that was a horrid game to watch.

Very poor from both sides. No wonder we were last on MOTD

hopefully the point will give the boys some confidence, my word they look like they need it

I was screaming at the telly at that point, then the little taco had the cheek to turn and shake his head cause he couldnt believe he didnt score. Wtf, you blatantly cheated before it.

Gallas' header also was as clear cut a chance as you'll get, how on earth he didnt score from that was baffling.
