The no vote is win-win for Scotland

They stay part of the union with all the perks but will get devolutionary powers

**** them, and wales, either be part of the country that is the UK ( which happens to have govt HQ in London but is created by individual members, including Scots, welsh and NI) or **** off and become more irrelevant than Belgium

...despite the fact that Bussells is the Epicentre of the EU megadon and is the Capital of Belgium...

You are forgetting about well over 2.5 million people who are going to vote to stay as part of the Union. Don't give the splitters any more ammo!

They should all be offered amnesty and a British passport before it all goes to c0ck.

Ever wondered what an independant Scotland looks like? Go watch Mad Max.

I'm sure Scotland will still sell Whisky to us if they go independent, they couldn't afford not to.

The Yes campaign is chilling. I'm confused how they will ever be reconciled with the rest of us in the likely event of a no vote.

They need to admit the central role Scots have played in the poor performance of Westminster and the economy in recent decades, and take responsibility for the devastating failings of Gordon Brown, new Labour and RBS.

On the plus side an English parliament will now be implemented, I hope that it will sit regularly in the regions.

Might I also add that if an independent Scotland really is going to refuse to take on its share of the debts and default, then we might as well saddle them with all of it.

Do you not think some of the devolutionary powers are ridiculous?
Free prescriptions and uni places etc - we are either all part of the same country or not.

No picking and choosing.

I like Scotland, and although it only contributes appx 8% of UK GDP, I believe there is a lot of value for keeping Scotland part of the UK.

But I think if the Yes vote wins, then the devolutionary powers need pulling back also, not more devolved powers.

You still get a say over localized issues, just like any council in the UK does, but you don't get special privileges just because you used to be a separate country 100s of years ago.

In or out - all the way. No half measures.

That should read " the no vote"

I suspect the no vote will win more comfortably than the polls suggest.

It's very easy to tell a pollster that you plan to throw your country down the sh1tter, it's another thing to actually do it.

It needs to. A No win by 51% would probably be worse for the stability of the UK than a yes win.
