--OMT-- TOTTENHAM vs Notlob

the only way the game can go on is if muamba makes a huge recovery and everyone is 100% that no damage has been done. did anyone see what was going on, i wasn't watching at the time.

I don't think there was a collision IIRC. Then all of a sudden he was having spasms on the floor. Then they had the defibrillator out.

Horrible situation.

Yeah theyre definitely calling it off. It just seems right. Even if he turns out to be alright, the players are not in a state of mind to play

I think they will abandon the game. BUT and I know it seems insensitive - but if Bolton were not at 1-1 they will have suggested calling it off. ultimately they still have an intention to get to an FA Cup semi final (obviously that doesnt matter right at this moment in time)

I don't get your point?

You're saying if they were 3-0 down Bolton would be more willing to ask for the game to be called off then 0-0?

He was on his front, looked like he was having a fit, but looked liek he was screaming moving about

Football is not a matter of life and death it is worth fudge all comparison to life, it is only a pastime which players are paid a lot of money to do and which entertains us but more important than life? fudge no!

Cancel the game as I really couldn't give a brick now about the game, Muamba's condition is a lot more important, really hoping he recovers quick as possible.

The reporter in the tunnel said Muamba still wasn't breathing when they brought him in on the stretcher, and the game has just been called off

Surely in times like this they should bring out a curtain to let the physios get on with the job properly without feeling under pressure of thousands watching what's going on.

Game off, only sensible decision.

Im not a religious man, but I pray the kid will be fine. Even if he never gets to play football again, the important thing is that he survives.
