Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

Re: Northumberland Development Project

In a list highlighting their recent activities, legal firm Asserson says:

"We have advised the London Borough of Haringey on a Compulsory Purchase Order to facilitate the regeneration of North Tottenham which will involve the construction of a new football stadium for Tottenham Hotspur Football Club and much needed housing. The CPO Inquiry was held in April 2013 and the Secretary of State’s decision is anticipated in early 2014."

Surely 'early 2014' has come and gone by now?

Did we expect anything else? It just drags on and on and on

The count down to construction has begun.....

Last I read of Skyscrappercity was that Eric Pickles needs to sign off the Archway CPO, but this got pushed back from January to April because of the floods in the West Country (as Local Government Minister both fall under his portfolio, so he dropped routine work to deal with emergency priorities).

People on SSC still seem confident that ground will be broken during this calendar year.

If you take a peak behind the boarding on the High Road at the old Wingate Estate, the site is about as prepared as it could be.

Re: Northumberland Development Project

Every time a new post pings in this thread, my hopes rise that I'll click and see a muddy field with a spade stuck in it and a JCB running around in the background.

But no.

And now I've bumped the thread and gotten people's hopes up for no reason. Soz.

Re: Northumberland Development Project

Spurs are building a tower for Levy to throw players off until we start winning again.

One player after each game until the next win.

Joking apart, same question from me too. Can anyone shed any light on what the scafford is there for with respect to this project
