Speaking of which who have they got fit atm? The commentator mentionned both Gibbs and Monreal were out tonight on top of the injuries to Ozil, Wheelchair, Walcott and Ramsey. Are we likely to see the same back line as the played tonight with a midfield of Flamini, Ox, Rosicky, Arteta, Cazorla?? One thing's for sure though, we need a game plan for Cazorla, he ruins Walker everytime. Not with mazy runs or anything like that but his general movement is good. He spends so much time creating an overload in the middle that Walker is left marking nothing.
 
4th season in a row AFC fail to make it past the 1st knockout stage but they are plucky and brave..

Er no, how about winning your easy group (this year aside) and avoiding the really big teams until the quarter finals, nah nothing said about that

To be fair, they've depicted Ozil in that banner wearing one of those twee purple and black striped away shirts from last season.

Just about the feyest get ups ever worn on a pitch. Surprised they didn't come with a matching beret. It's a fair comment on football fashion.
 
Can we delete the title of thread please, makes us look so weak.

I know where it came from with some guy starting a thread titled 'lets laugh at..' during 2011/12 but after seeing pics of that lot's players doing selfies in front of the away end :evil: and nearly putting my fist through the screen I'm really not in the mood.

Can we call it something like scum or just Woolwich Nomads?
 
It's because we aren't laughing at them. Laugh at the ****s, I don't care how much they beat us. They are still worthy of my derision.

Yesterday's loss was huge, and it's unfortunately now looking very unlikely we'll finish above them. This was the time to knock them out of the top four as they now have money to go out and spend big; without Champions League to offer the pool of players they can attract would have shrunk.

Their attack is the worst it's been in years. Giroud is an oaf - now they'll go out and replace him with Diego Costa or someone like that sigh

Yup. Just like Liverpool who had to sell all their best players before this season.

And for the first bolded bit, our chances of finishing above 'them' were pretty slim to begin with.
 
Our best chance of finishing above them was surely when we were 3rd till Arry's tax court case, and the case of the vacant England managerial spot. Sounds like a novel !

Anyhoo, our defence v the top 4 just not good enough, not enough guile in our attack.

Them finishing above us is their CL final ... very sad. However, I most probably won't watch the FA cup final this year.

although i agree with your sentiments, lets not kid ourselves; us finishing above them is our worldcup final.
