***OMT*** Tottenham Hotspur v Hull City, Saturday 1st February 15:00

Not really. But doesn't change my statement. They beat Liverpool and have shown some form at home. All I'm saying is we need to be switched on here. Of course we should be winning these games, but not a formality.

Lol I'm a walking book of football cliches here

Wins: Norwich, West Ham, Sunderland, Liverpool, Fulham
Draws: Cardiff, Aston Villa, Stoke
Losses: Crystal Palace, Man Utd, Chelsea

For me, Liverpool is the only result that stands out positively.

Think today's the day we'll see some old faces back in the line up. Did we appeal the horrendous red or is Rose out for this one?

Soldado - Ade
Eriksen - Paulinho - Bentaleb - Lennon
Naughton - Verts - Daws - Walks
Lloris

5-0 Spurs. We're so far down on GD we need to score as many as possible in games like these

This wont be easy.

Would take a 2-1 win, but 2-0 would be nice just to get into the plus GD

Lloris; Walker,Dawson,Vertonghen,Rose; Lennon,Bentaleb,Paulinho,Eriksen; Adebayor,Soldado
Subs: Friedel,Chiriches,Kaboul,Capoue,Sigurdsson,Chadli,Defoe

Rose's red was overturned mate.

Rose's red card was quashed. So he starts for me. Lennon needs a rocket up his Jacksie and I wouldn't have played him if either Andros or Erik would have been fit. He really needs to start proving himself again. He offered nothing against City in either attack or defense. We need a big game from here.

Go at em from the off. Press high. Strong work ethic from Ade and Solly is necessary. Don't give them any time to settle and harass Hudd all the time. We know he doesn't like to be pressed and to give him any time on the ball could prove fatal.

Looking for a reaction from all our players here.

This has to be a game where we show our mental strength. Fall apart now and we can rule out top four

what test of character? as if we're some mid table team :)

we have to be determined to see this as another game with 3 points in the bag, another day's job done.

not being arrogant, but being "in-character" as a top four side would.

its always about the next game.

There's no denying that Lennon was quiet on Wednesday but so were the other two behind Ade. I think that the problem, as much as anything, was that we were pressed so well by City that we just couldn't get the ball to them.

I think that looking at more than just the single game, Lennon is doing fine at the moment and has been one of our best players since Sherwood took over.

That's the problem with Lennon, he plays unbelievably well for 5 games then can't sustain either due to his consistency or picking up injuries which he always does. I think we need to get Lamela in the side ASAP when he returns to full fitness, whilst I wouldn't get rid of Lennon, he's had more than enough chances over the years to nail down that right wing position as his own but I just don't think he's quite good enough for where we want to be.

McShane is one of the worst footballers I have ever seen. Cannot believe he is playing in the PL. I've jinxed it now, haven't I? ;)

Paulie and Bentaleb....hmmm... not sure about that.

Chiriches dropped?

Guess Sherwood was getting fed up with us getting targeted on the same side again and again.
