Re: Tim Sherwood - Head Coach

4.30: "Lescott is a very good player, but there are good players at every club and he's at Emirates Marketing Project now, so we can't really talk about it"

Harry-lite!?

He also said Lescott was a top top player. The car window interview can't be far away.

Re: Tim Sherwood - Head Coach

Found out. That lasted long.

No ideas and no fight today. We've got our (1990s) Tottenham back

What a shock....would never have expected this type of post from you.........

but well done I took the bait.........oooo oooo please come Louis Van Gaal....we will never lose at the emirates again..........give me a break!

Re: Tim Sherwood - Head Coach

2 cup games 2 losses.

But if it means we stay unbeaten for the rest of the season, I'd take it.

Re: Tim Sherwood - Head Coach

Any game we don't win, there are posters who will questions Sherwood. And so they should. Its fair game. But at least make it reasonable and based on something!

Re: Tim Sherwood - Head Coach

I think its fair to say we could question why we didnt start with Capoue and perhaps leave Ade out if he wasnt 100%

we also looked better 4-3-3 or Arsenal may have been winding down the gears...

Its not fair to go in two footed on timmy though......due to lack of player options..... cant say he guffed up the selection too much as he didnt really have much to work with.......

more time is needed to judge timmy...... this game after a gruelling night at OT is not one of them.

It looked better as scum had ten men in the last ten

I don't agree that it means Sherwood is found out but I do agree that it felt like watching a mid-table Tottenham vs a top of the table Arsenal side today. Was not impressed at all. I'm hoping it's because of the fixture congestion and injuries though.

Please name a single game at the effeminates except for our 3-2 win where we have looked like we would win:-k, because you've got me scratching my head. You think in such extremes, defending the indefensible when it came to AVB but unable cut a Sherwood any slack even after we had beaten utd on their own patch.

Re: Tim Sherwood - Head Coach

Are you implying that's a bad thing? I can't tell ..

Not necessarily. I just think he's from the same mold, I think it will be frustrating at times, lack of plan B, stubbornness to adjust formation etc but let's the players have freedom of expression.

I guess it's acceptable now as we seem to have taken two steps backwards, certainly don't think he'll achieve any more than Redknapp though.

Re: Tim Sherwood - Head Coach

I didn't see any obvious schemes today, we didn't seem to be targeting monreal or shooting on sight against the dodgy keeper for example, I'm not sure enough preparation went into this.

based on what, in terms of factual content, or knowledge of how Tim's mind works, or what he's actually communicated?

Jeez, the man has been in charge five mins ffs!

Today, despite having currently the longest injury list in the PL, including top players like Verthonghen, Sandro, Paulhinho, Holtby, Lamela, Sigurdsson, Defoe, Townsend and Kaboul as well as the admittedly average Naughton we lost away to the team currently topping the league.

And for that you want him sacked?

Re: Tim Sherwood - Head Coach

For the record I am not really going to blame Sherwood for today's defeat. We were toothless up front but with a severely weakened squad and just 2 recognised strikers who were firing blanks what could he really do?

Indeed, it could be argued Soldado's abject form in front of goal is mainly a result of lost confidence having been starved of the ball for so long by AVB's excruciatingly overcautious system.
