***TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR Vs MAN UNITED -OMT***

Intention has nothing to do with it. We gained an advantage ( a very clear one) from the handball and so the ref has to give the freekick.

Intention has everything to do with it; that's the rule. And re your other post, I meant that if it had been handled in a similar way and cleared.

Yes it would have. GHod, I don't know how I'd be able to watch football with some of your mindsets, believing the refs are always out to get us. We get a much less clear penalty at the Emirates last season after Fabregas' handball when the ball wasn't even going anywhere. If Rooney had done that, we'd all have been furious if the ref had given the goal.

That's just disgusting. Absolutely disgusting. Why are we so brick against this fudging team?

So Man U have a couple of chances and score. We have the possession the whole half and we don't. Just shows that possession means nothing unless you stick the ball in the net.

They ll do us

Just like they always fudging do

Then someone will start a thread and explain how it's 'ok'

No, its not fcuking ok. Never will be

If ball didn't hit his hand the ball would have been in the back of the net.
That is not an advantage.

Oh FFS

Walker was more determined to keep Rooney in check that he forgot about the ball...

We need Modders' creativity in the middle - he'll get Azza more involved too.

Bench doesn't fill me with much hope...

Too often we let players run across us. Anyway no dropping heads at HT because we battered them, can definitely get back in this. We need to get something from this game.

At least we are showing heart and determination, and absolutely dominating posession. Think we will get back into this.

No it doesn't. If that had been reversed, this board would be exploding at the ref and adding it to their little dossier of 'ref decisions for Man utd against Tottenham'. Adebayor handballed it. He gained the clearest advantage. Its a foul. That simple.

And if a defender had done that, and it had been seen, it would have been a penalty.

Same old same old story. Yet again we will feel sorry for ourselves for the disallowed goal and let it effect us and bang, we concede at the other end.

Seen it so many times.

Well, Spurs all over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucccccccccccccccccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk.

Sigh. Still 45, something miraculous still can happen. But please haul off one of the front two. Both have been poor, though Saha's probably closed down a wee bit more than Ade. Defoe on please.
