Other Clubs - Rumours and Discussion

Hmmmmm

so Eriksen is more seasoned...like getting in a ready to go guy now. His ceiling is lower due to the fact that he reached his potential possibly earlier than the other two

lamela has the higher ceiling and thus more scope to be amazing

draxler is the least finished article , and doesnt display enough now to better than eriksen or lamela right now of the three but could be better than at least one of the other two

interesting

Well summed up. That's my take on those players anyway, but I don't claim to be expert, it's just my observations from the limited viewings over the last few years.

Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard, 33, has told striker Luis Suarez, 26, that he is too big for Arsenal, but he can go to Real Madrid, Barcelona or Bayern Munich if the Reds do not qualify for next season's Champions League.

When did Stevie G become a director and make transfer decisions?

Brendan was always his bitch!

If he's too big for arsenal, why the **** would he stay at Liverpool? That makes no sense!

Emirates Marketing Project have confirmed the signing of 32-year old defender Martin Demichelis from Atletico Madrid on a 2-year contract #MCFC

Just brilliant, we sell them Bale and in their need to recoup cash sell a classy midfielder to our rivals. ](*,)
What a great club agreement we have with RM. Payback for delaying the Bale deal?

Am I right in saying that since this agreement we've sold them Modric AND Bale?

Not really as the agreement was put in place as a part of the Modric deal, not before it.

We have of course sold them Bale since then, but I feel fairly confident that was unrelated to that deal.

What a **** agreement.

Sure we could say since we've been in "agreement" with Madrid they've given us over £80m, but what have we REALLY got out of this?

I thought we got coaching techniques and access to their scouting database.

If it wasn't favourable for us, levy would have ended it by now.

This and some marketing stuff or something like that, I can't quite remember. There was also some talk about potential loan deals.

Had nothing to do with the permanent transfer of first team players at least. I don't think it's influenced the Bale situation at all.

The actual benefit (if any) of this agreement is unlikely to ever get known to us fans I think.

Like you i trust Levy to make a good decision on something like this.

Plus Ozil is NOT what Arsenal need at all; strange, because he would have been perfect for us (pre-Eriksen and assuming he does the business for us...)

Indeed I remember reading we were tipped off to buy Dembele from Real's scouting reports.
I can imagine our scouting was a complete mess after Redknapp left and the Real's database set us well on our way to buying what we've bought.
