I think this guy has been our shrewdest bit of business this window.. He has fantastic delivery, can beat a man, is no fuss, has fantastic technique and will start scoring goals, of that I am sure.. I dont understand some of the criticism he has received from a small minority around these parts so far.

Nacer Chadli has created more clear-cut chances (3) than any other player in the Premier League so far this season.

He is probably the signing that I have been least impressed with so far.. Not that I think he has been that poor but he hasn't got me off my seat just yet.. However I can appreciate his smart play and the ball across the box with his weak foot for Solado's tap in... I am warming to him slowly..

I guess thats why we love football, opinions differ.

I've been least impressed by Soldado. Then again, I knew what we were getting when he signed.

I think he only will get better. Remindes me of Krancjar, but with more pace. Not lightening pace at all, but I think he will be better and better. Good business at that price IMO.

The last part is maybe why I haven't taken to him just yet. He has played ok and but I don't think we needed to buy him, probably a good punt for that price as you say. My other worry was that somehow this guy was the Bale replacement and still very early days but I just don't see it.. However for me that spotlight has now moved across to Lamela who I have a lot more confidence in..

Fair play, mate :) Bu I actually think he is our best option at LW even after Lamela came in. Lamela is a no. 10 or RW (to cut inside with his brillian left foot - as Bale did after Christmas last season). Of course Lamela is a better player, and four years younger, but he is needed more at RW or AM. I hope and think Chadli will be an asset for us in the coming months and hopefully coming years :) I cant read AVBs mind, but I got a feeling Lamela would be used more as a no 10 than at RW.

he's still learning about his team mates, sometimes its harder in the position where there's more time to consider where to play the ball. but he's done well finding space for the cross or just retaining possession. for that price i could not think of anyone better.

Haven't seen anything particularly convincing from him yet. Next game I'd like to see Lamela on the right and Townsend on the left.

Looked decent again today.

I think the two wing pairs, Townsend and walker and Chadli and rose, will get undeserved flack.

Over the past three games so often the pairs have gotten forward, gotten into a decent position, drawn 3/4 men across to stop them, and then they have had to pass back to a defender because there is nobody making themselves available. Seems a deficit of the central midfield, as soldado should be staying in the box, somebody has to get up and give them a simple option outside the box on their wings.

I too thought he looked alright today. Some very promising signs for me, but perhaps lacks a bit of that distinctiveness that Townsend offers at the moment. There were a couple of occasions where I thought Chadli could drive on with the ball either into the box or into space outside the box, but he chose not to. Still needs to settle in and gain a bit of confidence perhaps.

Like most players in those positions he needs some decent passes played to him in somewhat dangerous areas to flourish. Our buildup play from the back through our midfield needs to improve.

I like what I saw from him today, especially in the first half. I think he too will also flourish with a creative midfielder in the team. Eriksen threading balls through to him etc.

He looked like he wanted to play everywhere other than his position today and doesn't look anywhere near ready for where were young yet... Ill give him time but he looks no better than Tom Ince and isn't half as direct

Ill reserve judgement till after 20 games

What's the best opposition you've seen Ince up against? Closer to PL level opposition or closer to Tblisi level opposition?

I wanted him to go off for LAmela and keep Townsend on, although he is greedy at the moment he is unpredictable and two footed.

Can anyone please tell me how many goals are scored as the result of greed, as opposed to say, the result of unselfishness? My guess is one hell of a lot more.

I didn't rate him at all today. Like him as a player but today he looked a little short on confidence and subsequently, a little lost. When he got the ball I really wanted him to try and have a go at Jenkinson but it never really came save for a couple of times very early in the match.

Depressing that Townsend is in the first X1, he did not look too good for QPR last year.
