Lennon's back baby!

Re: The end of Aaron Lennon

Losing Lennon NO way...
He has great speed and will be a important player for us this year.

PPl only think of the starting 11, we want to have subs that can change the game, we want to rotate, we got alot of cup games, we will have players out....

Re: The end of Aaron Lennon

no - 2 players for each position and Chadli Townsend Lamela and Lennon means we have good options for the two wide positions

Re: The end of Aaron Lennon

Personally, out of all of them? I'd sell Sigurdsson or at least loan him out.

I wouldn't sell Siggy for sure but maybe loaning him is a good option. We can't do that though can we? i mean with the 8 players trained in England ********?

Fryers
Dawson
Rose
Walker
Naughton
Sigurdsson
Townsend
Lennon
Carroll
Defoe

So 10. One would assume Fryers will be loaned out and carroll maybe too? so we probably couldn't let any go.

I think we'll keep Carroll and Fryers. I think Carroll will get cup time and training with a first team consisting of some great great players will do him the world of good. Fryers will probably stay, he adds depth to left back and centre back and another one of those who may benefit through cup games.

Re: The end of Aaron Lennon

Providing we get our targets that's:

Capoue
Sandro
Paulinho
Dembele
Holtby
Sigurdsson
Eriksen
Carroll
Chadli
Lamela
Lennon
Townsend

all those fighting for 5 spots. I think Carroll should be loaned out.....or maybe we should give Holtby a premiership loan?

splitting it up like this gives a better break down, imv

Sandro/Capoue
Paulhino/Dembele
Eriksen/Sigurdsson/Holtby/Carroll
Lamela/Lennon
Chadli/Townsend

with the potential signing of Eriksen i think it's clear to see where we are over stocked in midfield and probably need to find a loan move for both Holtby and Carroll - i would be open to selling Sigurdsson though as i feel the other two have more potential.

Re: The end of Aaron Lennon

I don't want Lennon to go either, my concern was HE would want to go. If he were to come to AVB and tell him he no longer wants to play at Spurs, I think he might let him leave. Eriksen can also play up front, if we were to sign him and Lennon wanted to leave I think we would let him.

Re: The end of Aaron Lennon

It's a World Cup year I doubt Lennon will want to be part of a rotation with Lamela and Townsend, somethings got to give.

Re: The end of Aaron Lennon

Lennon would be happy enough be sit on the bench most weeks. He's not exactly the ambitious type. No need to sell him.

Re: The end of Aaron Lennon

Lamela, Chadli, Townsend, Lennon, plus Siggy who can play out wide and apparently Eriksen coming in who can operate across the attacking midfield three. That's not taking into account our ability to push Rose up into a LW position and Holtby's ability to play at right wing.

We have one too many options out wide. I don't want Lennon to leave, seeing as he's been around for eight years and is still only 26, theoretically close to his peak, but someone has to go, if only to keep our squad at a manageable size.

My hunch is that one of Townsend or Siggy will leave before the window shuts, should we bring Eriksen in alongside Lamela.

Re: The end of Aaron Lennon

Guys a lazy **** who stopped playing the day he signed his contract, quit trolling

Who's trolling? we can all have our opinions on our players. I don't get my knickers in a twist because of your opinion of Adebayor so i suggest you do the same regarding my opinion of Lennon.

I would keep him this season as an impact sub and if that doesn't work out i will sell him..simple.

I swear Tottenham fans are so fickle. He is out injured and people already writing him off, and they have the nerve to accuse footballers of not being loyal. I have faith in him anyway, he will be back.

Re: The end of Aaron Lennon

Ha ha, and it starts...when Lennon scores on Sunday, how many people will do an about-face? Please! You don't get rid of players like Lennon...
