***TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR VS swansea OFFICIAL OMT**********

Personally think anybody dropping Dembele is nuts.....what about a bit of loyalty to one of our top performers last year!
Siggy has been well below the general standard in the 2 games so far and if anybody should be dropped its him. Dembele has been v good so far but not flavour of the month with some people anymore it seems.

I would suggest there is a difference between dropping a player and resting/rotation or do you suggest Dembele play every single league and cup game for the rest of the season

JUST saw this...funny, I pondered whether AVB might see Townshend in this role a little further into the season...I don't think he's quite ready yet, but with coaching and aptitude I can see it happening down the line perhaps...

Dude, Townsend. No H.

I cant see us struggling to score in this one. Swansea will not be sitting back and it should be an open game.
However this is Swansea's 5th competitive game of the season (extra european games) and most of our team travelled to Asia and back during the week.

Think Diego's team makes the most sense for this one. We know Swansea are a possession based team so we need an extra man in midfield. Sigg's closing down and spacial awareness is woeful compared to that midfield 3, plus he hasn't done anything in his last 3 matches to warrant a start, same as Lennon. Though I think both could be great impact subs, Lennon especially when Swans legs get a bit tired.

Defoe to come on at the end as well when we're up towards the end. He can do the business on the counter and knows how to run into space to drag away a defender when we're on the counter. Perfect for later on in the game when they're trying to press for an equaliser.

Agree 100%

Will Sandro feature in todays game or is he unfit or still has an jnjury...anyone?

CoySpurs

Sandro played 67 minutes for our U21s against Emirates Marketing Project on 19th August and got through it without any problems.

I would expect him to be in today's squad but probably not as a starter.

Our creativity worries me. We didn't create that much against palace and Paulinho seems like the only centre mid who wants to go forward.

Lloris
Walker Dawson Vertonghen rose
Capoue
Paulinho Dembele
Lennon Chadli
Soldado

Subs will play a key part today and ours are far stronger. COYS!!!

Did you know that Spurs were the first club to field three Belgian players in a Premier League match when Vertonghen, Dembele & Chadli lined-up against Crystal Palace.
