Confederations Cup 2013

because the final will be very very difficult

The brazilians are as pragmatic as anyone these days. I think they will prefer to play counter attacking football. I think they will want to play Spain, because this is the time to test themselves against the best.

Extra time will be tedious. The players will then play for a penalty shoot out, as the last ten minutes of extra time are ticked out. Spain have the best technical players and so win the Semi.

not sure either will fancy pens, Italy have a shoot out record almost as bad as England, and Spain actually lost one to us!

Spain win on penalties, there we go! But the extra time was better than anticipated. The penalties were spectacularly good!

I reckon Spain will win the final though.

Brazil haven't lost a home game for something like 40 years though I think it was.

I think Spain will win the final comfortably, they were stymied some what by Italy's excellent defence tonight but Brazil are a car crash at the back and the keeper is even worse

I think Brazil might win the Final, why?

I think the Spanish will be fired up but tired on Sunday. The Spanish will start well and take a lead in to the half time interval. With home support, and as the Spanish tire, the Brazillians will take over, the side has power which could punish a weakened Spain.

I'll go for a goal victory to Brazil, possibly 3-2.

Fantastic display by Italy. They struggled a bit in extra time and at times in the second half, but that's to be expected against Spain. I think they will have gained a lot of belief from that.

Interesting tactical changes at half time from Spain, haven't seen that from them yet. Says a lot about just how impressive Italy were in the first half.

As others have said, great penalties. I've got to say I really enjoyed that first penalty. 10 international caps, no goals, 120 minutes of really hard work in his legs, first penalty. Step up and do that! The reactions from Chiellini and De Rossi were great too.
