i think whats more amazing is pulling out the moutinho thing NOW, why wasnt that an issue when we were winning? so when we win, no mnetion of moutinho and AVB is a sparkling clean hero, we lose a couple.....AVB slinks off into the night unscathed then we drag up moutinho

we lost. simple. good effort all round but all this sugar coating......dont get it

Terrible performance today, we definitely need the international break to regroup. Hopefully get Lennon back and Bale rested then push on for the last few games.

Chelsea have some tough fixtures in the run up to the game with us, the title could well be decided before we play city so I'm not taking them as nailed on defeats but it's going to be tough. We need Arsenal to have a sticky patch like we've just had/having but it doesn't look like it's coming.

Lets not forget, even with the result today, it's still in our hands.

What macarons decided to sing We love Martin Jol in the middle of the game too? Loved the guy for sure but surely your efforts should go to those lads in lillywhite.
 
So, who's getting injured on international break? Last time it was Dembele and that fudged us up a bit.

I would personally NOT have played Verts today as he has looked VERY tired, but he cannot rest everyone, thus Walker got the rest today (doubtless because there's international duty ahead)...again, personally, I would not have played Parker today either. So call it a mistake or a choice, your decision.

What would YOUR side have been today?
 
This sounds ridiculous in the grand scheme of things but one thing that consistantly grates me about games like this at WHL is how slow the ball boys are to get the ball right to the players hands to stop them from time wasting. It felt at least like 1/3 of that game was watching a player taking a goal kick or a throw. Even to our own players just to get some momentum going again.

good tactic actually, I was hoping that would remind him who he really wanted to win and make him do some crazy tactics, maybe he doesn't love us anymore
 
So is this further evidence of an end of season collapse or is it evidence that without Lennon we look pedestrian or is it just one of those days? Big test for AVB to regroup our amazing form appears to have disappeared overnight it really is extraordinary!
