The worst defending i have seen this season for there first goal.

2-0 now. why is it teams go out and play against any other team yet park the bus against us?

I cant understand this sort of comment. Maybe Liverpool just cut them open and scored. Teams don't morph into superhumans against us, we just lack things the quality and movement of Suarez up to help us break teams down.

were 9 points clear of them with a chance to go back to 12 tomorrow not 20 points behind them

Don't think anyone suggests they morph into superhumans. It is quite plausible that teams change their set up and mentality against different teams though so can't really understand your comment.

I agree, teams try to not let us play like they do with United etc, Liverpool I think every team fancies their chances against so are more open

I ead it on this board all the time - "oh they were quality against us but got dingdonged by someone else" or "why do keepers always play blinders against us" etc. Its all crap. We just struggle to break teams down sometimes, its not a case that everytime we play against some they raise they game 150% because they are up against the mighty Tottenham. Its just nonsense.

Didn't say were 20 points behind them or even that they are a better side than us, because they're not. They look like midtable fodder plus Gerrard and Suarez. There's no doubt in my mind that we partly struggle to break teams down sometimes because of seriously average movement up front.

Teams always seem to commit more players forward against the big teams and do not sit as many back as against us. This maybe due to us being known as a very good counter attacking side but its not hard to see a difference between when teams defend against us and others.

I'm with you on this. Imagine where we would be this season with a top striker. Not just this season, but since 2008.
