Why?

Disney bought Miramax just before Pulp Fiction was made and I don't remember that being 'Disney-fied'.
They've also done all the Marvel films recently too, and they've been pretty good on the whole, and not anywhere near as child-friendly as any of the stuff Lucas has peddled since RoTJ, including the additions of dialogue and extra bits to the original trilogy. Lucas seemed unable to let modern audiences reach their own conclusions and insisted on spelling things out to the nth degree, whether that's by having Greedo shoot first or by changing Solo's dialogue at the Sarlaac pit so that he says "I can see a lot better" rather than "Trust me".

And in more geekery, I saw Dredd the other day and it was bloody good.

It is a fantastic film. Ralph Fiennes's performance, my word.

For some reason the background music in the restaurant I work in was the music from Schindler's list a couple of weeks ago, really grim time at work that day.

Some people say I look like a more handsome Jude Law. I disagree. Much more handsome is probably fair.

My favourite movie of the last few years is on t.v. this week, i very strongly recommend everyone watch it on channel 4 on thursday. Is called Dreams of a life, is absolutely amazing it is a hard watch but you should watch it all the way through.

As a person i regularly tell my friends to fudge off and call them ****s, i have not done it at all since watching this movie* it is that good that it made me change my behaviour.

* Except for my celtic supporting friend but to be fair he is a ****.

Anyone know of any torrent clients that are similar to Vuze?

Couldn't be bothered doing a whole new thread.
