True dat. I was at the corner of the East Stand and found there I was sitting next to a 19 yo West Ham fan right in amongst us:eek:
Good natured guy, owned up early (was attending with Spurs mates who were members in another section apparently) and a good day was had by all around (I mostly didn't out him, though I suspect one or two neaer us knew).

You are right West Ham fans aren't all like that, fair play for coming on here

Maybe I was too far away, but I didn't hear too much sick chants today from the Spammers; must admit they were quite vocal (though very, very silent after the 2nd and third goals) and sang us out at times but I thought most of the chants were generally good-natured ("Andy Carroll he scores once a year", replied by them with by "He scored against you", must admit no-one seemed to ahve an anser to that one)...

...is it possible that some of these reports are being exaggerated a little bit?:-k
Or was I too far away??

I have West Ham mates who agree...good of you to come forward mate...appreciated...

All clubs have a minority of fudgewits, it just seems that teams like Chelsea and the Hammers have more than most...

BFS was very arsey about the chanting in the press conference afterwards..

The media was like whats your comment on the hitler chants, I didnt hear it I dont hear the crowd during the games.

Media said you could hear it clear as day, whats your thoughts, he was like ill have a listen and comment later im here to talk about the game aint I

Thought Verts and Bale were brick together on the left? ;)

I thought that was the best bit of banter of the day, and should be how fans chant to each other, light-hearted banter imo.
Have to say didnt hear the Hitler chants at all, although we were in the Upper paxton, which was quite vocal today

It is great to get the winning feeling again. I think the scoreline must be flattering for West Ham. We completely dominated the match and with better luck could have matched the 9-1 win over Wigan. We played well from start to finish, created many chances, hit the post twice, forced great saves and scored 3 top quality goals. The only annoying thing was we conceded yet again. Wish we had shown more concentration in defence.

We needed some inspiration to get this win and Defoe gave us just that, with 2 goals. His first goal was simply world class individual goal. It was the type of goal that gives any team the boost of confidence to win matches. And it came at a crucial time, just before the end of the first half. I think if we had not scored then, we would have been under pressure in the second half. You have to give credit to Dempsey for his contribution in our 2nd and 3rd goal. It was a clever chip from Dempsey and top class finish from Bale for the 2nd goal. It was a good team effort for the 3rd goal which resulted from tackles from Hudd and Sandro and nice interchange between Dempsey and Lennon. It was unselfish from Lennon to pass to Defoe instead of taking shot himself.

Really disappointed with the goal we conceded. Was worried about Dawson-Caulker in defence but they did fairly well. But it was Caulker's mistake which gave West Ham their consolation goal. I think inexperince is starting to show in Caulker's performance as he is getting error prone lately. Lloris did brilliant with his goalkeeping duties and deserved to keep a clean sheet if not for the mistake by Caulker. I think Lloris' error-free and assured goalkeeping boosted the confidence of the team.

It would have been better if he had made more use of the chances created. A bigger win would have boosted our goal difference. But it was crucial to get this win after losing our last 3 league matches. Hopefully this match will boost our confidence to go on a winning run.

There is a common notion suggesting Verts does not allow Bale to play the same BAE does and 'hinders' his overall game
