This couldn't have come at a worse time. Not because I think Arry will take it and leave Spurs now. But because he's lost focus for the last couple of weeks already. Now there will be the 'New England Manager' Circus.
We had our best run when we were under radar, going about our business quietly and assured. At least we know Levy will fight our corner, he doesn't let people leave very easily any more, unless he wants them to.

I can see it happening for sure. I think that Mourinho wants a project. He has been places like Chelsea and Real Madrid where money has been no object and won things. He has gone to Italy and bettered Mancini when the natives said he couldn't. I truly feel he wants to go somewhere at our sort of level where the potential is close to fruition but needs that final push, which is where Mourinho comes in.
Its all about Ego. Can you imagine how he will be viewed if he somehow managed to win us the Premiership or the Champions League, even just once? Combine that with maybe an FA Cup/League cup and consistent top 4 finishes and he just reinforces his own view of being possibly the greatest manager alive and it would be hard to disagree with his record.
Given the fact it is an ego based thing, he wouldn't be my first choice, which would be Hiddink. However, If Mourinho came on board then we would be in a stronger position than we are now, of that I am very certain.

Indeed, Levy may do the negotiations but I'm sure he's never bought a player that Harry hasn't asked for. The problem Mourhino had at Chelsea was Abramovic buying someone like Schevchenko without consulting Mourhino at all.

England have one game on the 29th February before the Spurs season is over.
There's no way he's leaving Spurs' run in to do nothing with England for the next 3 months.
He can easily do both jobs for the next 3 months. Expect Levy to get a huge pay out from the FA to facilitate this.
