It’s how the Americans broadcast
They always want cleaned because it’s a big thing there and he is a huge one, globally

But his fame doesn’t correspond with his ability. I don’t see many other “very good” players getting as much air time as Beckham does, especially considering he hasn’t played for years. Even in this country he’s treated like a GHod, but he’s been surpassed in terms of performances for England by Kane, Bellingham, Owen and Rooney.

Its not really much of a conundrum though really. Great footballer, nice bloke, good looking, marketable.....keeps himself active and relevant in the game with stuff like Miami etc.
