Djed Spence

“You would know about it if it was. He wouldn't be part of it if it was. But that's probably something that, whether that was right or wrong, as a person and as a player, Djed has taken responsibility for that and not allowed that to be part of the conversation this pre-season.”
That leaves out the important part where he says "if he was a problem.....you would know about it if it was"

I don't agree that Gray is a better RB than Spence. Nothing I've seen from Gray suggests that is the case.

I accept the evidence is not there. But we see with attacking minded managers they like to turn centre midfielders in to full backs. James, Trent, MLS your examples in England. Pep has been playing Nunes & OReilly there.

In a team that hopes to dominate possesion, Grays skillset it better suited to the full back role than Spence.

Gray isn't press resistant, he doesn't have an expansive passing range, nor is he an incisive passer, he can't dribble or beat his man and he has neither a burst of acceleration nor a fast top speed. His game is not similar to the men you mentioned at all. It's kinda of strange of you to place him in their company, his game is nothing like any of of them.

There's nothing about Archie which makes him good for the RB position. While Djed can comfortably play RB, LB and decently at RW.

Wanting to sell Djed coz we have Archie as back up isn't rational. It's fukin stupid. I hope the club or anyone who knows ball doesn't listen to rob
