I mean, is it worth "throwing" next season in the PL by getting this maniac in, if it saves us from relegation? One would have to think so.
I'd take Sol Campbell as manager if it guaranteed us avoiding relegation.

With a backroom staff of Antonio Reyes, Stevie Wonder, Pol Pot and Margareth Thatcher, if neccesary.

I wouldn't want this kind of manager if I was a player:

Sadly, I think we are turning into an Olympique Marseille or a pre-Joan Laporta Barcelona type of club, as both those clubs seem(ed) to have extremely weak chairmen/directors of football which allowed different football agents to run the club indirectly and impose their favorite managers and players.

For example, Olympique Marseille have also appointed Igor Tudor and Roberto de Zerbi in the last few years, they also have appointed Gatusso (which we narrowly avoided), none of them worked out. They were the biggest French club before the rise of PSG, but won only one league title in the last 35 years and are being lucky to still be in the top 5 because the French league is weaker than the Premier League.
Barcelona were known for making a lot of shady transfers and manager appointments before Laporta took over both in 2003 (think of players like Christanval, Fabio Rochemback or Geovanni or managers like Lorenzo Serra Ferrer, Carles Rexach or Radomir Antic) and in 2021 (players like Mattheus Fernandes, Jean-Clair Todibo or Miralem Pjanic or managers like Quique Setien or Ronald Koeman). Not mentioning the disastrous financial situation Barcelona got themselves into between the Laporta presidencies. Compare those periods with the Guardiola/Luis Enrique-led eras or the current era.

We lack direction and look like a ship lost at sea, so the best thing to do would be to redefine ourselves and begin planning accordingly. Starting with a DoF and then a manager. Tudor was a bad fit from the start and will probably lead us to relegation, but I don't think desperately looking for any other manager only for a short term appointment is the way to go.

Let’s be realistic though, who would actually take it based on what’s happened to the likes of Jose, Conte and TF?
Need a relegation survival specialist now I'm afraid.
Dyche, Allardyce, Pulis, Warnock etc

Whoever it is, we're properly fudged. But Mason is definitely not the answer. Nor is Tudor.

Hire a nobody
Wants to implement a NEW formation
Multiple injuries but we want to play a high line

It time to defend first. We are leaking goals like crazy now.
