Liverpool thread

But he is so humble and such a nice guy
No way he has engineered this whole situation himself !!

That's what agents are for. The last orchestrated tantrum got him a very good deal, when the club was reluctant. However, the Saudi deal he turned down must have been just as lucrative. I suppose he wanted the money and competing in prestigious competitions, but now has had to readjust his ambitions.

Isak could be out injured for a long time, reportedly. There will now be an official inqury into the events leading up to his injury, with serious reprecussions for those deemed responsible.
It did look a nasty injury to be fair but VdV was going full throttle trying to avoid a goal. Just unfortunate really. No doubt there will be effigies of Micky burning in Dipperland tonight and he’ll be roundly booed at Anfield during our annual bumming later in the season.

Say pool fans never even acknowledge their own players doing similarly excessive things on other players so fudge them

They have already asked to us to donate VDVs hamstring
They also want richarlison hung, drawn and quartered for what he did after he scored
This is so bizarre as I am literally just watching Isak limping off, with support, granted) on MOTD as I’m scrolling on here and seen the story above. Not wanting to downplay his injury but he doesn’t look like someone who has just suffered a “leg break” (going by the headline as I can’t read the full article).

I thought it looked really bad when it happened TBH
But if I was guessing it would have been a ligament
But it happens in football

I didn’t think the tackle itself was bad or malicious but the summary above kind of made it sound like it was. . Maybe I’m being over sensitive.
There is absolutely no malice in the tackle, it’s just a desperate lunge to stop what looks like a certain goal. But, to be fair, it is a bit reckless and it happens anywhere else on the pitch and Micky could be in trouble.

It’s very unfortunate because I think any defender worth his salt tries to do what he can to block it.

We will see the full-press of the football world now to try and get VdV retroactively banned or something like that.
