I would hope at least until the end of the season. We are putting in the performances in spite of the results. We are seriously affected by injuries and suspensions. If we had lost three at this stage of the season most seasons then not much would be thought about it. In fact probably a lot of people on here thought we would lose more than 3 by now.
It’s a case of continuing, improving as a team and as long as we believe in the process then players will return and we will get the results.
I just hope that the crowd doesn’t go against Ange and is understanding of our predicament….

I was unsure how we could play with all the players out and the way we played at Wolves.
But today. We played with intent. Had a lot of chances. Got hit on the break. We was unlucky.
With mostly our backup team playing. I'm not down.. Gutted we lost. But we will be ok.. Just need one or two back.

We were the better team , played better football but weren't clinical and we can't defend. Romero would have got across to Watkins. Royal far too casual or he just can't read the game.

Third game we've probably been the better side, but we failed in front of goal and defending our own. Villa taking Bentancur out and their excetional defensive line pushing up, won them the game.
The Romero red during the chelsea game the butterfly wings that set in motion our implosion. At least we are playing great football, our build up play has been excellent. But the critical bits at either end of the pitch have been lacking.

I advocated for a much different team but fair play to Ange what he went for worked a treat and if not for our latest piece of very bad luck (bentancur hacked out of the game) I suspect we would have won handsomely.
Hopefully from the beginning of 2024 we get our players back, leave the extreme bad luck in this year, get a couple of new players to strengthen the squad and then we can kick on again.

Looking at the fixture run. Looks like we could be sat around 9th around Christmas. I think somebody scoffed at me when I said we will finish around 8th or 9th. With the squad we have I just dont see anything higher,
The plus is we are a far better team to watch and its far more entertaining, but sadly just as frustrating as usual
