Doesnt sound like the add-ons have been agreed though. The base fee of £40m is a great start - hopefully its not another month of haggling over the add-ons

Lower initial fee to reduce what norwich get perhaps?

I kinda with you on that. He clearly has talent, but I'm not sure I see him as a big game changer.

Agree, i actually know a couple of coaches who worked with him at Norwich and they said he was a bit of a big billy gonad*s at times. However he was only 21 so it is something he seems/may have grown out of. We shall see if he signs.

His early 20s definitely seem like he was a "lad".
He has a kid two years ago - so probably three good growing up years.

I think we need to have come to a conclusion over Kane’s future too by then. If he’s leaving then let him leave soon so we can adapt to life without him. No point playing pre season friendlies, getting used to set plays etc and then he leaves.

That’s kind of out of our hands though, if by pre season the best bid on the table is still this 70m from Bayern then we’re not going to accept it, but if a week before the season starts someone offers 100m+ then it will be tough to refuse it.

Agree, there's not much for us to do in that regard. I also think it would take a huge offer for Spurs to sell him. I dont see £100m getting it done - perhaps £120m, and the further through the window we go, the higher than price goes
