Fabio Paratici - Consultant

Hearing on 19th April, so his leave of absence is just under 3 weeks. Doesnt seem too damaging if we know the result after that hearing

As I'v said before, I'm sure Levy will have a back-up plan

Pretty sure it was Saudi Sportswashing Machine who took Brighton’s main man. Chelsea have been trying to get Leverkusen’s Sporting Director.

Saudi Sportswashing Machine took the technical director
Paul Winstanley went to Chelsea, and was Brighton's talent identification manager

Ok paratici gets found guilty and banned.
Put aside paying players off the books (not paraticis money anyway, he didn't pay them).

But the over inflated deals on players. How many deals? How many other clubs dofs agreed those deals? Barcas is one. How many bans will there be? If you find him guilty for the deal, automatically his opposite number must also be guilty.

100%

Apparently the appeal on 19th April also relates to the points deduction which Juve have been hit with.

If Juve win it, then they jump to 2nd in the team...in which case you could see appeals from other teams given it'll mean someone dropping out of the CL spots

He won't be back IMO

I think he has done a decent job, but I think this will be another clean slate job with new manager and whatever that role is in summer, for better or worse

Not sure at this stage of season the loss is going to be that bad, club can close ranks and concentrate on the remaining games and address all that's needed in the summer

They should've been ahead of this??? So you think it's ok for FIFA to tell a journalist that Paratici is banned worldwide before they told Paratici? This is, unsurprisingly, amateur hour from FIFA.

Danny Kelly said this week on The View From the Lane podcast, and on Talksport, that he read a FIFA statement out on his Trans Europe Express programme in January which said that there would be a decision “before the end of March” on whether the Italian bans on Paratici et al would be extended worldwide.

It would appear they simply stuck to their word.

Still find it idiotic by fifa. Opens them up to a whole can of worms, when they could have waited 3 weeks to see if they needed to lift the lid at all.

There are at least 6 more italian clubs getting done. https://football-italia.net/why-six-more-serie-a-clubs-included-in-juventus-capital-gains-case/

Then you have the international clubs. This could blow up massively.

What about city? Are they going to ban their owners for paying players off the books? The qataris?

The guy from fifa who talked to the journalist must have got a right gonad*ing.

It doesn’t change anything. Should they or should they have not informed Paratici before informing a journalist? I think the answer is quite obvious but probably not for FIFA
