I've no fudging clue what to make of this. I really don't. On one hand, we fudged a 2 goal lead. On the other, City can do that to anyone and we were better than I expected. Then again, Hugo and Lenglet gifted them goals.

I expected a defeat but not that.

Bentancur was outstanding. Most of the team played well. Sonny is done. He's lost that half a yard and his game was built on it. He's gotta be benched.

Agree, some players are still cruising knowing they are not being benched and it does not help. Son need time on the sidelines and Conte needs to make that decision or have the likes of him and others take him down with him

Was poor for Newcastles second and obviously at fault tonight. But they are the only mistakes I recall and he's done lots of good stuff too.

Its not like we got him from Sclamhorpe either.

Both of the first goals Lloris conceded today and against the goons was because he's too eager, too primed to rush out. Against the goons he's looking to cut out a cross so gets his body all wrong. And tonight he rushed out to punch a ball he shouldn't. Neither of those goals you can put down to being past it. Both were poor judgment.

Was the near post Mahrez shot was deflected? Seemed like it. So a LCB....get one.

I wasnt convinced about him before the WC, but as has been suggested, he is not being played in his best position. Unfortunately, I doubt he will be in 90-95% of our games, as Son and Kane will be playing week in week out, and that is why I think we have wasted £60m on him

It got worse when Bentancur ran out of steam and Bissoumma came on and started doing his jogging around training impression.

Agree on Bentancur, we instantly look a weaker team without him but I think that’s a bit harsh on Bissouma. Meanwhile how peh plays every minute of every game is beyond me.

Works both ways too, not to defend Hugo, Im not, but Dier has been absolutely shocking this season, Sess and tonight Perisic who I think it top quality have played us into issues. We just seem abit of a calamity from front to back, yes 2 goals first half but we are not making good decisions across the park this year, its been a shocker of a season TBH

I know we will be replacing Lloris in the Summer anyway but could we just go all out and buy/loan a new keeper this window please.. Lloris can sit on the bench and have a testimonial once the season has finished
