This to me this is classic drama talk (nothing personal)

- Top players aren't joining us or them (see Ukrainian kid that posted a set of Arsenal loving stuff on social media for last week then went to Chelsea), being 6th or 7th on the choice menu is all the same
- The basis for a team is here, Perisic, Lenglet, Romero, PEH, Bentancur, Deki, Richarlison, Son, Kane with Davies, Sarr, Skipp, Gil, Doherty is a way better team than anything Saudi Sportswashing Machine can put out? yes, we have some players not in the squad (Lo Celso, Ndombele, Reguilon, Winks, Rodon) plus a few with (Royal, Sess, Lucas) that need to be moved on.
- Really, we pay £15M/yr for Conte, that's a top salary for any manager in the world, there will always be someone, the question is do we want to be brave, pick someone the fans may not see as a "big name" and give them some time to settle?

Poch specifically asked for a DOF to be recruited twice - first Planes, then Mitchell. He never liked transfers, he just wanted to delegate to someone he trusted (but sadly got Hitchin)

Poch + Paratici could actually be a bit of a dream team

peh is not the basis of a good team, he's costing us a goal a game.
I keep hearing about two man midfield, well its not when plays, its a one man midfield.
He's either unwilling or unable to track runners, and i don't know which is worse.

Would love to see the running stats for today. For me PEH worked his bollox off, wonder what the stats say.

Sarr didn’t school him at all. Sarr was nice and tidy but, understandably played an awful lot of very safe, no risk passes. He didn’t do much really in terms of influencing the game. He didn’t do the things that Bentancur does so well. Not that I’d expect him to at this point but people are going overboard in their praise for him here.

Will need to see the second one back. PEH does have a tendency to lose runs, granted.

PEH works his bollox off but there is zero intelligence in his work. He chases around instead of getting into position or tracking runners that are the real danger. Skipp is already streets ahead of PEH in reading a game. If PEH can't do that side at this stage he'll never be able to do it.

Totally different conversation

You want to play 2 in the middle every game and give up numeric advantage, you need a WC midfielder (PEH isn't, Bentancur potentially is)

You play 4-2-3-1 or 3-5-2, he's a very good player.

Remember Eriksens running stats at the end, ran his legs off, was still cack.
For a cm to continually lose runners is a disgrace, bissouma done it in one game and hasn't lived it down, this fraud does it every game.

Very good players do not make the same mistake every week no matter what the formation.
Very good players don't have the touch or turning circle of a barge.

Didn't he save a certain third with brilliant reading of the danger and a top class tackle/block?

Even if you have a point, calling him a fraud is over the top.

His distance run may be decent but the relevance if it is low if he is being bypassed and just chasing
He isnt a poor player and has shown some good attacking passes
Right now with the issues we have in attack and defence conte needs to bite the bullet and play 3-5-2 with Hojberg, Sarr and Bentacur ideally and Perisic and Kulu wide, Kane and Richarlson central
That gives us options in the midfield for runners to go back and forward
Our best crossers of a ball are wide where they can do their damage and key for me is it gets son off the pitch so he can reset
