Harry Kane MBE

You've got to look at the service he gets, at best he get 50/50 balls to feet or fight balls in the air, if he stays in the middle up front as the experts say he should he has 2/3 markers around him, neither Saka or Sterling play quick passes and I've yet to see Mount pass to anyone. It's amazing the number of goals he gets considering the supply he gets. It was good to see Bellingham getting in the box he could use the space Kane creates if the numbskulls get their heads up.
I do and I think Southgate is right believing Saka, sterling and Southgate can slalom their way to a goal if Kane feeds them.

Still early days in the world Cup but if England keeps on winning like this, you have to wonder what is Kane's best role for club.

I agree with your thinking that Kane has so much to offer to the team when moving out of centre, but as soon as England fail it will be his fault for not being standing in the middle waiting for all those pinpoint passes and crosses the team supply, as I've said before whatever he does hes wrong to many. When I started watching football Bobby Charlton was a flying winger who could fill in as a striker before adapting into a creative midfielder, Kane can do the same.

I had to chuckle when I heard the experts on TV say Harry didnt look when he plays the ball in for Sterling to score, he clearly looks twice to assess the situation before getting the space to play the ball, sure he doesnt look when actually playing the ball but hes read the situation and delivers the perfect ball, he does the same with Son regularly. He is such a clever player, if the experts want to pick out a player who never looks up they have Sterling to analyse, his first touch is poor and he has no vision of where anyone is on the pitch other than himself and even then its doubtful.
Kane really is one of the best all-round footballers in the world. Even the sourpuss at United never had his versatility. He has the footballing brain of a seasoned midfielder, and very, very rarely runs out of options. The anti-Lamela/Moura so to speak. He also has Modric-like vision all over the pitch, except inside the box. There he turns into Defoe, for better and for worse.

Yeah but he ain't as quick as Wilson or good in the air as Toney or as tricky as Grealish or as young as Haaland, so basically he's bang average.

Should have been taken off right after the tackle as a precaution. How much longer did he carry on ? It could have really caused more damage playing on, even if he did still manage an assist.
I just hope his obvious desire to break Rooneys record does not cloud his judgement and play when not fully fit, then go and make it worse. We need him more than England

Tackle on 48 mins, went off on 75 mins.

At least it happened in the England's first game, not the last. The club should be all over this, sending a physio to Quatar to assess the injury and make sure Kane doesn't do anything to aggrevate it.

Basically just send him home from that homophobic brick show of a competition.

I reckon he's fine, or at least fine enough to carry on in the tournament. Just a precaution and he'll play 90 (+ 20ish added on) mins and jog himself into the ground again on Friday

ITV pretty much blaming Kane for staying on, surely it's down to the medical staff and Southgate but it's easier to blame H

It all depends on the manager for sure, however Kane wants to break goal records so we do not really know if he would be pleased by being taken off. But as you say it is down to Southgate to make those decisions.

there is always some level of responsibility on the player, you know when you are hurt

Exactly, medical staff can only ever work on the obvious OR if the person is honest about how they feel. Kane is one of those players thou who I always feel probably needs saving from himself, commendable to a point wanting to play regardless which probably requires 3rd party management
