Preseason 2022

We need a creative midfielder . Have done since you know who left . That’s not changed.

Yes the system is not that way inclined but we also need a second system for a change up when it’s not going our way. Roll on the season will be very interesting.

We are not troubling City and Liverpool and anyone that thinks so needs their heads checking.

I see a finish 3rd at the very best and not that confident that’s obtainable. 4/5th place will be par.I’m worried about our neighbours as much as we like to mock they look ready to roll.
 
At least it leaves the side hungry. They need to right this game next week. Hopefully we're more focused for it.

Liverpool do well enough without one. Need to get the threat from the wing backs to stretch teams wider and create space for your forwards

If there's no threat from WBs and no creativity in the middle, I agree with you though

I concur with all of that. It's gonna be an absolute battle for top 4 this year. All the usual candidates will be right there.

We really need a creative option or two or we are gonna see a lot of frustrating games like this one.

We beat City home and away, and drew twice with Liverpool. It's the lesser teams that sit back we struggle against. And yes, we don't have anyone in the team (yet) to bring into play to unlock those scenarios.

There’s no threat from the RWB . Left side tho not a problem . Emerson . Doherty and Lucas are meh . He does not look like he wanted Spence.

Think it’s going to be ultra competitive. Shaping up to be a good season. World Cup in the middle . It’s going to be very different.

Thats partly my point. Its not really an attacking CM which is hte problem. Conte's system is massively built around the WBs. Needing an attacking CM in a Conte system is an admission that other positions are failing
