Transfer thread

He's a better option off the bench than Moura. Conte is more likely to trust him and be more willing to rotate with Eriksen rather than running Kulu into the ground.
A lot also depend on whether conte wants an extra forward too
I think he would live the option of playing 3-5-2 as well as 3-4-3… especially with players who know the system

Conte said not long ago that he was playing the formation currently that suited this group of players. There is going to be a lot of change in the summer, and there is no reason he wont want to use his 3-5-2 formation he has used often. Especially if we could get in a playmaker such as Eriksen, we are crying out for some creativity centrally and not an over reliance on Kane to drop deep. With Eriksens passing ability we could mix it up much more, and teams couldnt just focus on stopping Kane playing passes as Eriksen can do it just as well.....

Gallagher wouldn't be available to us for obvious reasons.

What's the situation - Chelsea can't sell to anyone, they can only agree to terminate contracts of their loanees who wont make their 25 man squad?

Longer-term, now Abramovich is out the way, Chelsea might settle back into their traditional role of being our feeder club/pensioners' home, so we might see a big uptick in business with them.

They'll be sold by the time the transfer window is open. But at the moment basically the licence only allows them to do business enough that they "survive" although what that means is determined by the government.

When was the last time we cherry picked a player from them? Gordon Durie? Poyet and Cudicini were more on their way down really.
