Matt Doherty

Prior to the New Casbah game, there was a feature on Doherty's perceived revival by The Gourdian's current Norf London beat reporter, Nick Ames.

Bald, skinny, wiry and weasely are only the most prominent of his attributes. Less discussed is Ames' employment some years back, writing enthusiastic guff for Arsenal. Not unlike that fcukwit at The Arseletic, Charles Eccleshair who was similarly employed in a pro-Arsenal workplace, then shifted to the Telegraph and added malicious mischief to his portfolio. Yet both are now beat writers covering Spurs and environs.

Can anyone ever recall a time when Arsenal beat writing was performed by a known Spurs fan, let alone one who actually wrote fanzine stuff for Spurs? Can you imagine the frenetic furor that would erupt should this ever come to pass?

Answers on a post card and we'll read them out on the half-time show next week. Which will leave 14 mins, 48 seconds to fill.

Ali Gold saying he’s done for rest of the season. Shame really after he finally started to show a bit of form .

That was filth from Cash. The follow through was deliberate. To think it was unpunished as well . As I said in match thread Villa were a disgrace . clams

Every foul they made looked like they were trying to hurt us
Ashley youngs was a classic professional foul

Ffs. Such a shame for him and us.

Its a blow if he is out for the season. At least with both LBs back we're good there. We're going to lose a good bit from an attacking perspective on the right though with ROyal coming in. Can't see Conte playing anyone else there though, unless we need to chase a game

Bit of a loss for sure. Royal is not quite as decent as Doherty, but with some of the tackles flying in, we could have lost a few players to injuries. Shameless at times from Villa

Saudi Sportswashing Machine we’re the same
Every aerial challenge was started with a barge rather than an attempt to win the ball

Shame that Tanganga is out for the season too. Do we have a back-up for Royal just in case. Fagan-Walcott, or maybe Bergwijn could be worth a try if the situation arises
