****Tottenham Hotspur v Wolverhampton Wanderers****OMT

Communication is abysmal.
We miss an organiser, and have done for years.
The worrying thing is that romero and Bentancur are supposed to be vocal and push players on have only just joined us and there's no sign of it.
Has it been knocked out them already.
Language barrier would be a challenge IMO
Dier speaks all the lingo for the whole team and it shows IMO

Haven’t watched MOTD and not sure I want to.
Watched Atalanta vs Juve last night and I hate to say it but we are so jittery as a group I can’t see where one would start to improve it.
The mighty juve limped to a draw
Atalanta are so good at their recruitment

I stayed to the end (you wouldn't walk out on a movie before the end, no matter how predictable the plot) but be honest, never at any point did there look like there was another "Leicester" in that team yesterday.

Ref. the atmosphere, it was fantastic on Wednesday when we went 2-1 up and look where that got us :D Have to say though, third time I've seen us play Wolves this season and their fans have been fantastic every time. Hats off to them.
Well yes of course our fans are good when we are winning:D But all in all our fans are poor when something goes wrong, or a player tries something that doesn’t go right our fans really do quickly jump on the team and it is no help whatsoever. Conte has just mentioned he needs the fans with us, when things aren’t going well you need the fans willing the team on more than ever. Our fans (in general, not everyone) just add to the problem rather than helping. Whenever I’m at a game and things aren’t going well, I cringe at some of the comments and atmosphere it is terrible and there is no doubt the players can feel that…..

Start with the spine. Goalkeeper, Central defense, Central mid. Need strong characters in there.

We look a million miles away from both of them in terms of basis skills.
We look nervous and scared especially in defence.
They have a much more mature system of play though

conte has been here 16 weeks and is trying to change the system which will have these highs and lows

What does bother me is when it goes wrong he just blames the players

Very Mourinho’esk and that is depressing.
Hugo may needs a rest from the from the first team.

There is a lad near me who absolutely destroys Winks every time he gets the ball. Regardless of what he does with it. All day Wednesday and yesterday, he was shouting “fudge sake Winks, you’re fudging brick.”

Now I’m in the East Upper so I doubt Winks can hear him. But if he could, in what way is that productive unless Winks slept with his missus or something?

I reckon that’s the guy who used to sit behind me in the south stand in the old WHL
It was Parker before winks
Guy next to me hates everyone so it’s “he is brick”, “there all brick”… “were brick”

We are you in the east upper?...I sat next to a chap that was doing exactly this yesterday...Row 1.

Row 25. Judging by the posts here, we have a few of them :D
We really do
I think it doesn’t help the players myself
Ben foster did a podcast the other week and said (talking about Everton) some clubs have fans that get on their back quickly and it hurts the players. We know those clubs so we target them for a quick kick to break them early knowing the fans will do the rest (I’ve paraphrased)

Yeah I agree. I’m sure Winks can’t hear the fella next to me in terms of what he’s saying but you get a few hundred or a few thousand doing that at the same time and Winks hears the collective groan. It’s not helpful. We all have a moan and I sometimes have “swearing Tourette’s” at the ref but I try not to shout any abuse at the players.

The coaches or the players?
I mean there are weaknesses in the players. We all know that
But expecting someone to significantly improve whilst also knowing they are out the door this summer is a challenge

yeah the players, it's not even wanting them to improve, its wanting them to play at the same level we've seen from them before
