Exactly. A run of home games against average to poor teams, and a home game vs Liverpool missing their CMs and best defender and we still only drew. Only had two away games against two pretty poor sides, have drawn both and scored one goal. Talk of catching Chelsea always was nonsense, we will do well to come near 4th…..

I wanted him on for the entire second half. Sure he's been hit and miss for us, but he can do useful things. Højbjerg offers us very very little when we need to attack.

We are far from brilliant but outside of the top 3 I don't see anyone better than us.
 
I have always seen Højbjerg as an anchor or defensive midfielder only, I don't understand why he's suddenly supposed to bring us anything out of the ordinary in attack.
 
Had to watch on my small phone screen. Think we were unlucky but might have got zero points if the penalty and red card hadn’t happened. Will take Conte a bit longer to get performances away from home I’d imagine.

We aren't any better than Arsenal or United though. It's gonna come down to who can get the most consistency going and win their games. Mainly against the lower quality sides. What both if those teams have over us is goal threat and chance creation. We've obviously gotten a ton better under Conte but still we don't have a lot of goals in us. Look at today desperate for a goal and we really only had Moura to being on, who can score goals but is hardly a consistent goal scorer. I said it before Conte came, I've said it since he joing but this squad still required serious work.

Yeah it's not a complete disaster. 1-1 away to Southampton is a reasonable result and we never really looked like losing second half (Sanchez block aside). But when they're down to 10 and we have inflated expectations, it's disappointing. We have to beat Watford now really. Otherwise momentum is slower even further.

Today showed a lot of what's wrong with us and what has been wrong since around 2017/2018. We're very, very ponderous going forward. Conte, great as he is, won't fix that without getting a player or two in.
 
They deserved their lead when they went ahead. I was worried at that point. They were playing high behind us, what shocked me though was how much the referee was allowing them to push in behind us and knock players over with no foul.

The midfield was way too weak. Son looked off his game. We needed Moura pushing in. Sanchez and Royale had a lot of possession in and around the box and we didn't nothing with it.

Feels like we need it starting X1 or we are not good enough. Lots of players just looked off today.

I won't ever understand that offside. How whole body is level or behind the defender. He is leaning because he is making a run. I still don't think in anyway you can rule out a goal on MM's with this tech. It's not that accurate. Shoulder was level and that is what they ruled offside to the defenders foot.

We need another striker
Not a wing forward or a creative mid… a striker. Someone who will make the opposition think
I’ll be stunned if we don’t address that
 
Shame Reggie got that stupid yellow in the 1st half as Doherty wasn't creative at all on the left every time he cut back in
Real shame Ryan Balsawood is injured again as he would have given us something today
