Next Manager?

He's still playing for France unlike Dele....
I have one real immediate requirement of the coach whomever that is.

Banish Sissoko to the U16s, actually that will be bad for their development. Just sell him, give him away do whatever it takes to get him out and the new manager will forever have me as a dedicated cult member.

Well, this is great. He's got two seasons to do his best with Spurs but I have my doubts we'll see champagne football much less caviar results served in silverplate.

Lots of youngsters running their buns off and striving to crack the big time. Kane will be gone - for a substantial sum I would hope - Son not far behind for another princely amount. Lots of opportunities all over the park.

His contract ends at the same time as Pochettino's does and that has to be a deliberate time line. Here's hoping we'll be in good shape to hand the club back to the man we all know should be running Spurs.

Your opinion that they may not have done it is no more likely than my opinion that they probably did it.

That's not how it works. If someone say elvis Presley is still alive and living on the moon with princess diana. Is not equal to someone who think it's flimflam. The person making the claim should supply some evidence to make their claims more believable. Apart from religion. That's gospel.

Why would we get mopo back if the new guy does well?

Because he’s made for Spurs.

Almost took us to glory, but always fell near the final hurdle. Spent his final year looking increasingly sulky and talking to the media about when he was going to leave, with the team playing highly forgettable football in the PL. Allegedly sacked after he stopped attending training sessions.

As I said - absolutely made for us. :D

It’s got nothing to do with Pochs contract, he will probably return at some point but people should stop thinking everything centres around this guy. There’s nothing to say if he does well at PSG he won’t sign a new contract there, and to think we offer contracts around when Pochs contracts expire is fanciful at best. Managers don’t tend to last here(or most places) longer than a couple of years, so Levy is hardly going to be offering a five year contract without the guy proving himself…..

If it is a 2 year contract to rebuild and promote youth whilst keeping the seat warm for Poch, does this mean Poch is also prepared to work for a DoF too?

In plenty of reports about his sacking.

Re-reading my original post, it reads like this was the reason for the sacking, which isn’t true. It was reported as being part of the final build up to it, though.

Absolute rubbish.

In your example the overwhelming accepted view ( and to be honest fact) is that Elvis is dead so if a conspiracy theorist goes against that majority view, there is pressure on them to come up with evidence

In the case of our divisive owners there is no such consensus and in my opinion I think the pendulum is swinging against ENIC than for them and this forum is in the minority.

Therefore there is no obligation for someone with an anti ENIC Spurs fan to try and provide evidence to a Pro ENIC spurs fan to justify their opinion nor is their an obligation from the opposite side.

As far as I’m aware none of us have a load of inside info on Spurs( although my wife did get some ITK from an out of the box source at my nine month old son’s baby music class) so we are all making assumptions based on out view of the current state of affairs at the club

I take it the ITK is that the wheels on the bus are coming off, off, off?

Perhaps if Levy backed him then we wouldn't be looking so much at the manager ...

My biggest concern is that Fonseca, if appointed, will arrive just as supporters are allowed back in bigger numbers. Supporters already seem against the appointment. So, if Fonseca’s Spurs transformation takes time I can’t see the supporters being patient. This will breed frustration and not lead to anything positive.

Whoever the new manager is needs time. It’s going to be a transformational period to get the squad, from how it is now, to where the manager wants it to be both in terms of the active players, and the playing style.

With the way some of our fans are i would not be surprised if they boo on the opening day.

100% this!
Worth noting Poch hasn't had fans In at PSG, he's an emotional man, who's to say he won't form a just as strong a bond with PSG?
I know it's nice to think we're somehow special but people change and move on.
