Daniel Levy - Chairman

I think the club wanted the fans to disperse and go home so that the anti ENIC rhetoric didn’t get too much airing on TV

getting the players out for the lap of gonad*s would have hastened that though no?

the press were there, as were plenty of bloggers and vloggers, the cat was out of the bag

Unless there was a punch up in the dressing room (and there really should have been) it's inexcusable for the players not to want to come out.

I think this one is on the players, surely. It wouldn’t surprise me at all with their attitude this last year that some decided to head straight down the tunnel, and then stayed in.

Otherwise this story doesn’t make much sense to me. We put ‘thank you for your incredible support’ banners on the digital surroundings after the whistle. A lap was planned. Feels like certain players couldn’t be arsed.

As definitely a lap would have let the anti ENIC sentiment simmer down a bit.
The fact that none of them came out indicates to me that it was ordered from the top.... I could be wrong but it seems strange to me. The fact that eventually they did come out when the anti ENIC stuff ratcheted up even more and the fans refused to go home suggests that to me even more.

We were told by the stewards that the players weren't coming back out, after a good wait, and before the anti-ENIC and sixty-quid-you're-having-a-laugh chants really took hold.

Wow. These fudging players.

I don’t know how it will even be possible to conduct the kind of rebuild that is required at this club. I think there is going to be a lot of pain. Between toxic, weak minded players, and the ones who try hard but aren’t good enough, and the ones who have just run their course, the scale of the change needed is huge.

The majority of people left at full time from what i saw - when the announcer said about a lap of honor there were howls of derision/laughter

It’s a huge problem
And one that means we need someone to help at the top

Indeed, the sad thing is its been pretty obvious for s ome that the rebuild should have started already. The squad is full of players who have let down 3 managers now but i keep reading from s ome fans we only need a couple of players. One of the reasons we have looked so poor for the last couple of years is that the players have passed their best, but mistakes are made more often by players who have downed tools and are not really putting their best efforts into games and that is what has happened here now.

I agree
But a couple of the right players and losing some of the bad apples will flip things
We don’t know as fans who they are but it can change quickly
I’ll also add that we have to get a leader in this side. Someone who will take charge. It’s not Harry or Hugo for sure. Someone who would have went over to Reggie an picked him up... Dier gets licked because he does some different that but the rest of his game is woeful now

I think with ENIC the worst case scenario is what we are seeing right now, we'll never drop out of the top half.

Anyone else in charge and all bets are off, bankruptcy, dropping out of the PL, anything could happen.

It's a risk, and risks should never be taken.

The worst case scenario is that the many whinges like Dubai and Finny who must be frustrated by something in their lives actually make levy think fuk this for a laugh, and he actually does sell up to some American consortium who knows zip about football. They pump in 100m, then lose interest and use Spurs to fund an NFL side or themselves.

IMO our only sale route is to someone who owns and NFL a franchise and wants a football one
The best deal may have been the guy who owns Fulham and wanted to buy Wembley to play NFL. He was gonna pay £600m for Wembley
But he is only worth £6b ish I think so we would cost a 1/4 of his wealth

Could not agree with you more about a leader on the pitch and have said on here for years that a keeper should never be a Capt ( too far away from the play) i also agree it has to be s omeone who will kick a few players arses if they are not putting it in again that is not Kane either. I agree that a good Capt would have had words with Reggie.

But i really believe we need more then a couple of players to turn us round.

It’s a swing of players
Say 4 good ones in and 4/5 bad apples out gives us a 9 players swing in the squad
Add in a capable confident coach and a decent start to the season hopefully without the ELC or whatever it’s called and things could change quickly

And normally when someone is worth x amount that money is not liquid. It’s tied up in companies and assets.

You know mate, I don't think I could have thought of a single better way to describe ENIC's so-called 'vision' for the club than this.

Take down the old 'echo of glory' and 'to dare is to do' stuff, because this is exactly what ENIC are, what they have made us in their quest to avoid spending a single penny on their Haringey property acquisition vehicle in 20 cowardly years.

'It's a risk, and risks must never be taken'.

Legitimately, thank you mate. I couldn't have put that better myself.

These irredeemably mediocre, contemptuous, contemptible c*nts need booting now, and it's time to start thinking of ways to speed that up.

I can see where you are coming from and i hope 4/5 players will do it. Maybe if we can bring back Sess, Skipp and maybe Foyth ( and they hit the ground running) added to the 4/5 new players it could work. But for sure i think this summer is going to be a massive one for us.

You can speed it up by filming yourself and putting it on Twitter
